“She is no one’s to claim, brother,” Rhys said, voice calm but cutting. Each word dropped like a blade. “Not anymore. She’s her own force now. And if you want to feel her power, you’ll have to learn to share.”

His eyes were dark and steady as he found my eyes.

“Won’t he, Astrid?”

The tension in the hall coiled so tight it could snap. The silence wasn’t empty. It was thick. Pressurized. Waiting to explode.

Kieran didn’t speak. He just stared, golden eyes locked on Rhys, then on me. The rage that had filled him only seconds ago was still there, but something had shifted. It was no longer just fury. It was desperation. Possession. That raw, primal ache of a male losing what he believes is his.

His whole body vibrated. A human-wolf on the verge of either tearing his brother apart....or me - probably the latter.

Alpha Xavier hadn’t moved. He sat there like a shadow carved in stone. Whatever anger he’d had earlier at my awakening was gone-replaced by something far more danger

  • Fated To The Dark Alphas   CHAPTER 25 - FINDING HER OTHER MATE

~ ~ ASTRID ~ ~The hunger was returning. Not the sharp, ravenous kind I’d felt in the beginning - but quieter, colder. A thrum beneath my skin , an ache curling behind my ribs. The blood they’d given me had dulled it, but only for a while. Now it stirred again, causing immense pain in my chest. And my wolf was gone. That was what saddened me most. The silence. Where Eliza’s warmth used to be, there was only cold static. The bond had gone quiet the moment I drank. I hadn’t even had her for long. She’d just found me—and now she was gone. Ripped away by whatever this place, this blood, these creatures had done.Vampires.They were myths in the packs. Boogeymen. Stories told to keep pups from wandering too far. I used to laugh at the tales. Now I was surrounded by them. And I was something else. Something in-between. No wolf. No pack. Just blood and silence and the weight of too many eyes on me.Lysander sat across from me in that cavern chamber, draped in black like the shadows bent arou

  • Fated To The Dark Alphas   CHAPTER 24 -

~ ~ ASTRID ~ ~Darkness. Then a dull ache , throbbing. My chest felt hollowed out, a raw, gaping wound. My throat was on fire. I tried to swallow, but it felt like sandpaper scraping against bone. It wasn't just dry; it was a deep, burning thirst that clawed at my insides, a hunger unlike anything I’d ever known. Every cell in my body screamed for moisture, for relief.A faint light pierced the black behind my eyelids. I forced them open.Stone. Glowing crystals. A strange, earthy smell mixed with something sweet, like herbs. Shapes moved in the periphery, tall and shadowed. My mind was a fog, but one sensation cut through it all, sharp and undeniable. My mouth was dry. So dry it hurt.“Thirsty!” I gasped, the word tearing from my throat. My voice was raw, desperate. “Water!”A figure moved into my blurry vision. Tall, dark, with eyes like polished obsidian. He held something. A goblet. My eyes fixed on it, desperate. I didn't care who he was, or where I was. Only the thirst mattered.

  • Fated To The Dark Alphas   CHAPTER 23 - BLOOD?

~ ~ ASTRID ~ ~The pack sounds faded, replaced by the rustle of leaves, the hoot of an owl, the distant cry of something unknown. Darkness swallowed me whole, a welcome embrace after the hall’s harsh light.Tears streamed down my face, hot and stinging, mixing with the cold sweat on my skin. The humiliation, the pain, the utter sense of being alone - it was overwhelming. I had been used, manipulated, and then discarded. The Luna, the promised mate, cast aside like a broken toy.I collapsed against the rough bark of a massive oak tree, sliding to the ground, burying my face in my hands. The pain was still there, a dull ache now, but the emotional wound was fresh, raw, bleeding. I had nowhere to go, no one to turn to. My entire world had just imploded. But even in despair, a tiny flicker remained. A spark of green fire, deep within me, banked but not extinguished. A quiet hum, a defiant pulse. They thought they’d broken me. Thought they’d extinguished my power, my spirit. They were wron

  • Fated To The Dark Alphas   CHAPTER 22 - REJECTION

~ ~ ASTRID ~ ~The air crackled, not just with magic, but with the suffocating audacity of Rhys’s touch. My breath hitched, a ragged sound tearing through the silence. Heat bloomed between my legs, a traitorous response to his invasive fingers. Shame, hot and immediate, flooded me, but beneath it, a wild tremor—a spark of defiance, a flicker of understanding.Kieran’s body went rigid. His growl was a low, guttural rumble that vibrated through my bones, a sound of pure, unadulterated fury. His golden eyes, usually so possessive, were now wide with shock and disbelief, fixed on Rhys’s hand. He looked like he wanted to tear his brother limb from limb, but he was frozen, trapped by the Alpha’s command and the public gaze.Rhys, damn him, simply watched Kieran, a slow, predatory smile spreading across his lips. His fingers, still pressing intimately against me, moved just slightly, a subtle shift that sent another jolt through my core. It was a silent challenge, a blatant disregard for Kie

  • Fated To The Dark Alphas   CHAPTER 20 - SHARING

~ ~ ASTRID ~ ~“ Come. Choose. Witness what it truly means to possess,” Kieran’s voice rolled out like a low growl, raw and unyielding, cutting through the thick silence that gripped the hall.I stood alone at the center, every eye in the room burning into my skin like molten metal. The weight of their gazes was suffocating. My glance flickered between Kieran, towering, fierce, a storm barely held in check, and Rhys, quiet and poised, a dangerous calm shadow wrapped in mystery and unspoken power. Their bare chests glistened under the flicker of torchlight, primal warriors in this brutal contest. My wolf, Eliza, stirred beside me—restless, raw, trembling with conflicting anticipation. The air was saturated with scents that wove together in a wild, intoxicating dance-the sharp tang of fury, the heavy sweetness of desire. It made my skin prickle, my breath hitch.Alpha Xavier Thorne sat poised on his throne, face carved from icy stone, as Elara, eyes sharp and unreadable, stood like a ha
