Olivine's eyes darkened, the shift in his demeanor sending a chill down my spine. “I’ll make him pay,” he growled, his voice low and dangerous. “Not only for daring to lay his filthy hands on Meimei and kidnapping her, but for having the gall to show his face here, in the palace.”
