Elysia’s POV

I opened my eyes allowing the fresh breeze from the window side to brush my skin. I felt numb, shutting my eyes to reflect on all that happened in the Raven’s pack.

Thoughts of how Alpha Tyler treated me came back running through my mind, “I was just a fool all along” I muttered.

I held on thinking everything would get better, still I allowed him to lie to my face. I thought he loved me but it was all lies .

Tears were about to set in, I squeezed my face and clenched my fist while trying to hold my tears but I couldn’t.

I allowed my tears to roll down my eyes to my cheeks.

I managed to sit on my bed, my legs curled up to my chest region , folding my body together and letting my tears out , crying like a baby that was stung with a needle.

After letting out part of what I was feeling , I got up from my bed.

On the table close to the right hand side of my bed , I sighted the empty cup from yesterday’s night and remembered the pack doctor bringing me a cup filled with herbs to help me relax. “Bet I dozed off before Sarah left ,” I signed.

I let out a deep breath and opened the wardrobe. I was a mess and I needed to shower, maybe that will help me get my mind off what had happened earlier a bit.

A set of neatly packed clothes and a towel clung to the hanger , I gathered both and placed them on the bed.

I took off my clothes filled with damp from crying , reached out for the towel first and wrapped it around my body.

I got into the bathroom to shower, the water was warm soothing my skin.

A mix of emotions started setting in, betrayal, anger and frustration.

Guess I might not be able to get off how Alpha Tyler treated me and humiliated me. “I will make you pay!” I screamed, allowing tears to roll down my cheeks . I shut my eyes, placing my right hand on the wall to support myself .

“I should have just left but my heart wouldn’t let go,” A pang of anger hit me as I screamed even harder.

I wanted all my pains to go away already, I felt useless at that point.

All those years I held on just so I can be with Tyler but just within a twinkle of an eye another woman from nowhere suddenly becomes his Luna? I wished I left but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I screamed even harder clenching my fist and allowing the warm water rush down my body.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door bringing me back to reality. I couldn’t get out of the shower just yet.

The door creaked open, I wondered who might have entered but I felt maybe it could be Sarah.

Until I heard Adrian’s voice , my eyes widened and I froze.

“Elysia!”

“Elysian!” He called out my name , I heard a rustling sound.

“Y…yes, will be out in a bit”, I stammed washing my body.

I got out and slammed the bathroom door behind me, the towel clung to my chest and barely reached my knees.

I swiftly looked at him, noticing his chiseled body, I couldn’t look at him because I was almost naked.

“I brought you some tea to help you relax.” He said , pointing to the tea placed on the table.

Suddenly, I felt cold and really uncomfortable. My towel was slowly slipping away from my chest. “Please I want to put something on,” I said and swallowed hard.

He raised his head and looked at me, staring into my soul. I noticed his beautiful grey eyes. He stood up and turned around.

Then he faced the wall, A loose armless top clung to his body revealing his broad muscular shoulders.

I let my towel fall, my breast firm and exposed reaching out for the clothes on the bed.

After a min, I finally got dressed .

“You can turn around,” I said, reaching out for the tea and sipping a bit.

Silence crept in , I wanted to apologize and thank him for saving my life. I know at the moment I just wanted to die but I realized Alicia and Tyler can’t just get away with what they did to me.

They have to pay before my soul leaves this earth. Thanks to the moon goodness, I could have died.

Finally, he broke the silence. “So how are you feeling?” He asked, his voice filled with concern.

I pounced on the bed and adjusted myself, “Not too good.” I said hesitatingly.

Tears began to rush down my eyes, I couldn’t hold it back anymore. He moved closer to me using his cloth to wipe my tears.

I threw my arms around him and buried my face in his chest, he held me tightly and I sobbed for a moment while he parted my back .

“Will you tell me what happened?” He whispered into my ear .

I let go of him and cleaned my face , avoiding his gaze and staring at the bedspread.

He cupped my face, lifting it so our eyes could meet, “what happened ?” He asked, tracing my tears on my face.

“He used me.” Anger surged through me, causing me to cry even harder.

I tried moving a bit away from Adrain but he got close, held my hands and squeezed them a bit.

“I don’t know how to start,” she murmured.

After five years of standing by his side , he pretended for five fu**king years? A pang of regret was visible on my face.

Adrain was still waiting for me to utter a word , I could see the curiosity washed all over his face. He sure wanted to know what happened.

“I thought he was going to marry me.” I began, fidgeting my fingers in my lap unsure of how to brief it.

He paused and allowed me to let out my pain.

I told him everything Alpha Tyler and his new Luna did to me because they wanted to have the medallion.

Telling him all that happened lifted part of the heavy weight in my chest , I felt relieved but I still had mixed emotions. I was still hurt and wished the ground would swallow me up, but my soul won’t rest till I make them pay.

“I’m .. I’m so sorry I was rude and I thank you for saving me” I stammered .

He held my hands and brushed the stand close to my face . “We will make them regret , I promise.”

“But how” I smirked

He reached out for my tea that was almost getting cold and handled it over to me . “I will help on one condition.”

“What?” I asked, my heart skipping a bit.
