Elysia's POV

"Who is this?”

“What was going on here?”

“Have I been kidnapped or something" that were the first thoughts on my mind when I opened my eyes.

I has been wondering if this was how heaven was  since there was no way I survived that waterfall.

"You really need to calm down" this handsome figure in front of me said trying to stop me from screaming but there was no way I'm going to stop, all I wanted tight now was to die.

My heart has been broken into a thousand pieces, though I'm alive it felt like I was dead on the inside, how could I continue to live with this feeling.

"Just let me die, you could have just left me in the water fall to die" I cried out running down my face.

He looked confused as too what he should do but I was just really overwhelmed by my emotions.

"What do you mean by this, you just woke up right now and you want to die?" He asked me in a stern tone.

"Yes, I want to die, I don't have tge medallion with me anymore so I'm not a threat. Just let me kill myself" I screamed out remembering what Alicia had said to me the night before.

"I don't want to hear you talk about dying again, you barely survive and now you want to die" he scolded me but I wasn't ready to listen to anything that he was saying.

The wound in my heart was still fresh, I was used by Tyler to get what he wants and when he sees that I was of no use he disposed me like a trash. I just can't get off the feeling of betrayal and pain.

"I don't see the need to be alive, just let me kill myself and everything will end here" I said to him trying to contain my emotions.

"I didn't save you so I could see you die" he said sounding like he was hurt or something.

I waved off the feeling watching him walk out of the room, I sat down on the bed breaking down into tears.

I remember everything between me and Tyler, after everything I was just a wolfless werewolf with a shitty background.

I wondered this man was and how was he able to save me from the clutches of Alicia, was he really trustworthy.

I stood up from the bed, my feet felt heavy and wobbly as I walked, I had to hold the wall to walk.

I tried to open the door but it was locked from outside, it seems like he locked it so I'm was not able to go outside.

"Excuse me," I said hitting the door gently "I want to go out" I said hoping someone would help me.

I walked back to the bed when no one answered me wondering what my life would become now.

I looked around the room, it was painted in blue color giving off a calm and homely feel. The decorations looked simple yet elegant.

My mind drifted off to Sarah, my maid and friend. How was she doing now, I just hope they weren't mistreating her.

The door opened gently, and Sarah's voice echoed through the room, "Elysia?"

She looked around, she looked around the room finally sighting me at the edge of the bed. A mix of relief and surprise washed over her face.

"Elysia, you're finally awake!" she exclaimed, rushing towards me.

I managed a weak smile, still trying to process everything that had happened.

"Sarah, how...how did you get here?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Sarah's expression turned sad. "I followed Alicia when they took you. I didn't know what they were going to do to you, but I had to make sure you were safe."

Her words brought back memories of that night, and I felt a pang of pain, the thought of everything sent shivers down my spine.

"And then I met him," Sarah continued, nodding towards the door. "Adrian. He said the moon goddess sent him to find you."

"He had already pulled you out of the water before I got to the other end" she said.

My eyes widened in shock. "The moon goddess?"

Sarah nodded. "Yes, and he's the Lycan King."

I gasped, I was really surprised, "like the same lycan king that was rumored to be the tyrant mad king." I asked her.

"Yes" she said nodding her head.

"What's going on, Sarah?" I asked, feeling overwhelmed by everything.

Sarah sat down beside me, taking my hand in hers. "You've been unconscious for a week, Elysia. Adrian found you at the waterfall and brought you here. He's been taking care of you ever since."

A week? I have been unconscious for a whole week. I had so many questions, like why did he agree to take us in but before I could ask them Sarah continued.

"Adrian seems like a good person, Elysia. He's been worried about you, and he's trying to help."

I looked at Sarah, thinking about it "Do you think I can trust him?"

"I think you should give him a chance, Elysia. He's saved you from Alicia, and he's been taking care of you. He also took is in when we had nothing, let's give him the benefits of doubt. Maybe he can help you find a way to deal with everything that's happened." She said with a smile.

I nodded, considering all that she had said. Maybe Adrian could help me. Maybe he could be the one to assist me during this difficult time. But I still had so many questions, and I needed answers to them.

"Maybe he would be able to help me repay those bastards that hurt me and cheated me" I said to Sarah.

She thought about it for a while before speaking, "I think you should talk to the him first and see if he was willing."

I will make sure to seek revenge in all the way I can. Just wait and see Alicia and Tyler, I will make sure you pay.
