Such a Stalker

I entered the bar room and found him talking with another guy; he was too handsome, not to mention young and mature. With a buzz cut, thin-framed rectangular glasses, and a quirky smile, I assumed him to be another celebrity.

How I did not take note of his presence before was what I was now wondering.

Kiara, you've got your eye on only one guy. That's the reason you didn't see the other guy. My inner voice pointed this out.

"Kiara Michaelson, am I correct?" The handsome guy asked with a lazy smile on his beauteous face.

"Yes." I smiled.

"I finally get to meet her." He mumbled, quietly. "How are you doing?"

"I'm fine, thank you." I replied. "And you?"

He gave a nod. "How's the work so far?" He asked, and I was kind of glad that he cared about my work.

"It's been okay, not particularly fun though." I ran my fingers through my hair, pushing it out of my face.
