There was a renewed vigor in my mind when the bright Ray's of the sun got me out of bed the next morning. I was still feeling sick from all the exhaustion I had put myself through, and coupled with the fact that I hadn't been eating properly, my body was in pains. It struck me as odd that Geraldine hadn't been around for days, and it was beginning to get disturbing. Normally, she would be in the room waiting with a plate of food.

However, there was no one around and I had been instructing the guard outside my room to bring me food before I could eat.
