Chapter Twenty Five

Theo's POV

Lilith takes her time getting dressed only coming down around a half-hour later after I hear her muttering about hunger and that her eyes are far too bright leading me to believe she is self-conscious of them.

I completely understand, the colour is so vivid that she won't be able to blend into the background on any given day and she doesn’t strike me as the type of person that likes to be the centre of attention, ever.

"What's wrong with her eyes?" Lucas questions as he lounges back on the sofa with some sandwiches on his chest, obviously having overheard herself musings as well.

I think this is the first time he's actually been out of that bunker for longer than a few hours.

As it is Andy has had to take over and watch my prisoners to allow this meeting so he knows damn well he best get as much food and rest as he can before he takes back over tonight.
