Zoe's POV

After Luca told us everything, including how he had been spying on the military facility to the north, he pulled out his laptop and the flash drive he had been given.

"This thing has helped me remember myself. It’s not all back, but at least I know who I am," Luca said, clicking on a folder that was locked. He typed in the password, and Xavier raised an eyebrow.

“How did you know that?” Xavier asked.

“Neil added a file with all the passwords and decryption codes,” Luca explained. He turned the laptop to Xavier. “All yours, Alpha.”

I leaned in, watching as Xavier scrolled through the folders. Names like Project Winter, Project Obsidian, and Project Twilight filled the screen. Then, his eyes stopped on a folder. He froze.

“Do you know this one?” I asked, pointing at the folder titled Project Blackwater.

Xavier took a deep breath before answering, “Claire worked on this project during the five years she was gone.”
