Chapter 123:Breathing.

*ASA TRINE*

Darkness surrounded me so menacingly that I wondered if I had been dead or alive.

It was cold very cold to the point that I had stopped feeling any sensation in my body and could now see only the mist that formed in front of me in a pale grey color from the heavy breaths that I had been taking.

Breathing.

I was breathing at least.

That was assuring to some extent even though my arms had been looking as pale as the Goddess’s color.

Where was I?

The last thing I remembered was that I had been in the forest with Cain. Where was he? Was he safe? Was I safe? Are we still in one of Ephialtes’s magic traps?

I didn’t know and this loss of knowledge made my heart race with worry for Cain. I had broken my pendant and I had prayed to the goddess to keep us safe but I don’t remember if I had been able to complete the circle or not.
