“No, wait, did you bring the bag of chips that I had kept on the table?” I asked stopping Cain as he looked at me and shaking his head in negative, he said, “Just give me a minute, I’ll be right back!”

It had been two days since we had gotten back and thankfully the crowd had started straying away from us a slight bit for us to decide on going on a picnic today.

Another thing that had been something really good was Cain’s carefreeness. He had been smiling more and he didn’t look like he had to be on his toes every moment of his life. I think a huge credit goes to Clay and I rejecting each other. This weird phenomenon had also seemingly improved his outlook of his brother as he didn’t seem to be worried about his presence around us anymore though it didn’t mean that he became any less possessive.

Looking back at our home I waited for him to come back but it was taking him longer than I had thought, and I wondered if I had actually brought the chips with me.
