Finding out your dead father kept a secret diary would be exciting if it wasn't also absolutely terrifying.

Michael had pulled some serious strings to get us access to the restricted archives in the basement of the old campus library. The kind of place that smelled like mold, it probably hadn't been cleaned since the 1980s.
