I leaned against the doorframe of the library watching my brothers pace the room.

The tension in the library was thick enough to choke on anyone and I couldn’t blame them. No one expects that their mate will turn out to be the same girl they’ve maltreated. There was this guilt already gnawing at my heart, just thinking about that but… there was also my wolf, begging me to be with her…

The image of Valeria rising from the pool last night, her wet clothes sticking to all those curves on her body – made my manliness move with excitement just thinking about all the things I want to do to that body.

Which is what I want to do more than anything right now… but for my brothers.
