Night drew near so fast, my heart racing with anticipation, Sera held my hand, slowly massaging it, I could feel my nerves getting soothed.

“You can do this.” She whispered into my ears, slowly knotting my tie.

“Thank you.” I muttered under my breath. I was all set to meet the rest of Rendrel pack. Sera was already dressed in a long black strapless gown, her brown hair cascaded down her back, with a red gloss neatly applied on her lips.

She was breathtakingly beautiful, her beauty will probably outshine the entire world. I locked my gaze with her, not ready to let go. I just want to melt into her embrace and be trapped there forever.

“Kael, it’s time.” Grandma said from behind, she was standing with Mum and Kenia who stared at me with pride glinting in their eyes.

“Let’s go.” I whispered to Sera, and together we all came downstairs. The Members were slowly arriving in the house. Each one was being guided to their various positions in the chamber.
