ANGEL

I remembered the day that I realized that I cared about the twins as more than just my best friends.

It was the summer before my freshman year at the academy. Athena was new to me, so we went on a run in the woods. The exhilaration never got old no matter how many times she took her paws out for a spin. We had been so caught up in it that we ended up getting lost.

Athena’s leg got hurt when it got stuck in a hole. Unfortunately, there was a snake in the hole who ended up biting her. The pain was excruciating and made it too hard for either of us to focus enough so that we could mindlink for help.
