Denton lived alone, but there was no telling if anyone else was there. That was precisely why we had to be quick and covert.

We had everyone on standby just in case something went south. Hopefully, it would not, but we needed to be prepared.

His house was in one of the outer subdivisions where many warriors lived. It was close to the barracks and training center. Luckily, it was dark outside. That was certainly a plus right now. Unfortunately, casting a cloak was not an ability that we had. However, our mates could manipulate the shadows to help cloak us.

‘Be safe, our warrior mate,’ Grant whispered through the open link between the three of us.

‘Definitely be safe or else we’ll just slaughter the fuckheads,’ Gabriel said with a smirk on his deliciously handsome face.

‘Same goes for you two as well.’

They kissed their marks and let the shadows take over. The door was locked, so a shadow went into the keyhole, effectively unlocking it. The door slowly swung open.
