“FUCK!”

I find the car abandoned. The window smashed in. I hadn’t believed a word Lilah had said. I had thought it was some kind of game. A way to distract me. But here was the car along with five other scents. All men, all Lycans.

“Why would they want her now?” my Beta Linc questions. He had met me here after I called him.

“I marked her.” It was the only thing that had changed. Unless they were after her for another reason. For being the daughter of traitors.

He studies me for a moment. Choosing his words carefully. “We both know that's not the reason they took her.”

I hadn’t been able to mind link her since she went silent. They had done what I would do. They had either knocked her out, or put her to sleep to block the connection.

“I should have believed her.” I mutter. I had made a vow never to let this happen again. Not after the Rogue situation. Yet here we were.

No way, I’m glad that they’re now mated or at least half mated, hoping they can do something so she can mark him but I do have doubts as for the goddess, hating her no way and that needs to be stopped in her mind straight away. The goddess is not like that, she is loving and loyal to her children
