“What are you saying?” Kaitlin screeches as she plants herself firmly in front of me.

I didn’t have time for this. I needed to know what Linc was suggesting. I couldn’t be dealing with her, not now, not ever.

“She has told you. That man right there is the one who fathered your kids.” Callie laughs, “If you weren’t such a bimbo, you would be trying to figure out how!” Callie slips her arm through mine and moves us around a gobsmacked Kaitlin.

“What are you saying? You are not making any sense!”

Callie rolls her eyes at me and drops my arm. “That man that is being chucked into the dungeons. That’s Snare, a shifter.”

“But Snare’s a woman!”

“She had us all fooled. She fooled you too when she shifted into the King and knocked you up.” Callie snaps back at her

“I would know. I know everything about Colt!”

I'm so confused. The mate bond should have made him repulsed by any other woman, such as Kaitlin, even if Lilah was young, and she shouldn't even WANT to leave due to the draw. Especially since she's marked and they mated.
