Hudson's POV

"Guard, leave us alone," I said to Braxten in a calm voice without betraying the fury threatening to burst from within. "Oversee that all of the Keladian prisoners get sent back tonight," I said as I clenched my fists. Braxten left, knowing that at least I wouldn't kill her. As stupid as she was, she was still my blood.

As soon as her mate was far enough, I slapped Arona's face, sending her tumbling to the floor. "You see what your stupidity cost me?!" I snarled. Thick tears ran down her cheeks, but she did not crumble. I purposely hit her on the same cheek Bella did, trying not to raise suspicion.

"My stupidity?! You've been thinking with your manhood ever since you set your eyes on her. Don't tell me there was no other solution before you threw away our only leverage!" She spews.

"She will be your future queen sister. You better not threaten her life again, or I will cut ties with you!" I growled, and she scoffed.

"I hate her. She has two kings by the balls, a
