Bella's POV

When I saw Hendrick inside that cold cell-like cage, my heart pang sent a wave of nauseating dread to my stomach. It was like looking at two water droplets. I got closer and couldn't help but reach out to cup his face. It was as if he was my Chad in that heart-wrenching state. When he rubbed his face on my palm, and I didn't feel the sparks, I knew he wasn't Chad.

Back in our room, I hug Chad, and I cannot stop the well of tears from falling like a cascade. I know I'm drenching his shirt, but I can't bear to let go of him. The witch and the werewolf that caused him and his brother to be cursed were my parents. I know it. I feel it in my gut. It all matches. My family owes an unrepayable debt to Chad and his family.

I promise Chad that I will find a cure. These are not empty promises. I have the means to do it. I don't confess to Chad that I am a product of the couple that brought this tragedy upon his family. I'm afraid he would hate me. He stares into my eyes as I k

  • Fated to the Lycan King   Chapter 266

Chad’s POV The predator inside me hadn’t rested since we left Balzaree. My wolf prowled beneath my skin, itching for violence, and the name Sadie Mallory had become the blade I wanted to sink into her chest. She had vanished too neatly. Too conveniently. Hendrick was right—there was no way she’d c

  • Fated to the Lycan King   Chapter 265

Bella’s PoV The great doors to the balcony swung open, and a wave of sunlight kissed my skin as I stepped forward. The thunderous cheer of my people rose, echoing against the mountains of Balzaree. My crown gleamed in the light, but it was not the gold or jewels that made me proud—it was the sigh

  • Fated to the Lycan King   Chapter 264

Chad’s PoV I lowered Bella onto the bed, her hair spilling across the pillows. She was already flushed, pupils blown wide, that soft body arching for more. I took my time, because nothing fed my ego like watching my queen beg. My mouth claimed her, slow licks turning ruthless as I devoured her swe

  • Fated to the Lycan King   Chapter 263

Bella’s PoV When the portal spat us out onto Balzaree’s marble steps the air hit me like a benediction — salt and perfumed gardens, the faint iron of distant war. Braxten and Brent flanked me; Olivia and Arona were at their sides. Hendrick kept Lilly close, his jaw a hard line. Chad carried Kaelan

  • Fated to the Lycan King   Chapter 262

Lilly’s POV I walked carefully to the low settee, one hand smoothing the front of my dress where the fabric still caught at my thighs. The way I walked—a little too careful, a little too slow—was not from pain so much as from the delicious, hazy aftershocks of last night. Hendrick had left impress

  • Fated to the Lycan King   Chapter 261

Hendrick’s POV Her robe slipped through my hands like a promise. I undressed her slowly, reverent as a thief who’s finally allowed to take the rarest thing in the world. Every inch of her held me—every soft slope, every little freckle, the way moonlight pooled at the hollow of her throat. My wolf
