HANNI POV

The clinic was in chaos as the nurses and helpers brushed and bumped into each other—each having a dying wolf in mind as they scurried around looking for medications for their pain and I just stood there pale, knowing very well it’s all going to be futile if they aren’t given the one thing that can cure them—the Crystal antidote and the only way they can be administered is only if the tests results are out and they are tested positive and also with the Alpha’s permission.

I was suddenly pulled out of my trance when I heard a nurse cry and I ran over immediately to see her bent over a young wolf with her palm folded on his chest trying to administer CPR, but he was unresponsive…

“Dylan! Dylan! Listen to me!” She called as she thumped his heart, trying to revive him, “Open your eyes Dylan!”

And suddenly she cried out, “Matthew! We are loosing him!”

Immediately, I jumped into action and ran to him, raised his head up slightly and propped it on a sofa pillow to keep it balanced
