ALFRED POV

Like Lady Simone, I hate clinics….I love the smell of blood, but I hate medicine.

But I cared less as I pushed the clinic door open with all my senses focused on finding her and I couldn’t help to wonder and worry about what could be wrong with her.

“Is the lady ok?” I had asked earlier, dreading the reply, but the one I got floored me off my feet, for it was so unexpected.

“Yes she is fine sir. She was the one that asked for you, she said it’s urgent sir!” He said as he stood in a professional position, in his formal attire.

“Spill” Andre drawled, narrowing his eyes at the guard.

“The lady is fine, but there are more poison cases in the clinic my king” he said.

Then I went blank.

“Where is the lady?” I called out among the scurrying nurses and healers, hurrying in different directions for it was chaotic in here with the body bumping…the striking smell of medicine and the cries of pain.
