CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Later that day, Xander decided to go to the office. Once he entered, everyone's gaze immediately fell on him.

Knowing that it was all due to what had happened at the party, he ignored them and went straight to his office, his secretary running behind him.

"Yesterday's report?." Xander leisurely asked, his eyes glued to his computer.

"Nothing new sir. Mr Braden, once again tried negotiating a deal for Yeild's view. But..."

Xander looked up. "But what?."

"The finicial department had reported that someone superior has been smuggling a large sum of money."

There was a moment of silence. Xander clicked his tongue.

"And do you know who this person is?."

Lan shook his head. "No sir. I had asked the person in charge of the financial department, but he refused to say anything. I suppose he had been bribed."

Something evil glimmered in Xander's eyes. "And what's the name of this person?."

"Edison Quad."

"I want him fired."

Lan nodded and immediately exited the room.
