Aro Miriam had maintained a respectful distance from the wake and funeral that followed. I could tell that it had triggered her grief over the loss of her twin brother. For the most part, I was able to excuse away her absence as exhaustion from traveling so recently after her capture. I was relieved that she appeared in time for the wing burning ceremony.
