A Few Days later….

"Why did he leave Elodie alive?” she asked to herself as she was pacing the room. She had been thinking about the case and how unusual it really was. Sarah was trying to separate herself from the actual case by thinking about it as something that was happening around her instead of to her. Though she was remaining neutral, she knew that was difficult when she let her mind wander to how this was affecting her life. It had changed it completely.

Sarah had always been the go-to person to handle things like this in the field. Her detachment had been things all the soldiers that met her had commented on at some point.
