Back home

Marie didn't run instantly , she stood there staring at Mr. Leo.

"Run!",shouted Leo again 

Marie nodded and scrambled out of the room.

She was running and she knew exactly where she was going . She took the stairs down and knew there were no guards where she was going and after a couple of minutes she was out of the building . 

On the road she felt so good that for a slight moment a thought came to her mind that she could go back home and not return to Leo,but she knew she couldn't do it.

She ran back home. She felt like a child going home after a long day at school. It was late night as few people were there on the road. She ran as the cool wind blew on her face making her cheeks cold. She reached home and banged at her house's gate.

'Sam might be sleeping',she thought. So she banged again.

She heard footsteps and faced the door straight. Sam opened the door his hair was ruffled and his eyes and face resembled he might have been sleeping .

"Marie!", he screamed out of delight.

Marie smiled and hugged him

"Sister I missed you!", He whispered  in her ear.

"I was gone for just two days Sam!",she whispered back

"I was expecting to hear 'i missed you too' ",said Sam and laughed

"Sam let's go in I have to tell many things and go back",said Marie pushing Sam inside the home.

The went inside and Marie drank a glass of water and sat on the Sofa and said ,      " Look Sam ,Ronald found out I was getting his papers and he locked me up with that man in the room. Now we can't run away from there because we need to stay there  and stop him from making that toxic vaccine. We need someone who will help us from outside . I didn't want to involve you but Leo didnot agree. So you need to join Ronald now! I was his assistant and now he has no assistant and he would be needing them. I want you to apply for that! And you need to act like you don't know me! You are going to act like you don't know anything about his work. You need to act like a faithful person because he would like that. Do you understand? And you will be where we are",said Marie

Sam being a sharp boy understood everything and nodded,"but is it necessary for you to go now?",he asked

Marie saw tears in his eyes ,she hid hers.

"Yes I have to....",said Marie,"tomorrow first thing in the morning you will get ready and go to the place where I work . You have seen that place, right?". 

Sam nodded.

Marie continued,"so you will go and say that you wanted to apply for the new assistants job. And my papers are there in the cupboard just go through them once and you will know what Ronald likes and what he might ask and then he  would be obliged to give you the job. The room where we are locked are just 2 rooms away from his lab . You will somehow find a way to sneak a phone through the door with the food they give and keep us updated of all the things Ronald does!"

"Okay I understood everything...but how did you come out?",asked Sam

"Well that man whom Ronald has caught is a black belt. He looks old but he is not that much old. He fought two guards ! And you know he is so fast! He even does that triangle choke you showed me! He fights just like you. And you know even I helped in the fight",said Marie excitedly

After a nice talk Marie departed with a  teary eyed Sam , to return back to the prison and to stop that Ronald from destroying the world. Marie felt like some sort of a hero who was helping stop a villain from destroying the world . 

She went back to the building and took a deep breath remembering what a brave thing she had done just now.

She entered the building and knew Leo would be waiting for her in the room and she ran into the building with a small smile on her face. 'Everything would be same as before',she thought innocently, not knowing she was horribly wrong.....
