The Reunion

A long thin metal rod with a small glittering white stone on top of it , was kept on top of Ronald's desk.

"I ask you again Patrick, what is that thing?!"

"I donot know Sam! I told you. I just went with those men to that horrific place , and there were men working ,it was all dark and an old man appeared and led us inside....then....he pointed in the corner and there were these bags there. He didn't say a word. Only when one of the men was picking up this particular brown bag. He said ,'caution with this one' and then nothing",said Patrick

"Okay so we don't know what it is but it looks dangerous......do you have any idea what it might be doing here?",asked Sam

"No I don't.... And I don't understand why you are so concerned young lad.... ", said Patrick,then lowered his voice and said,"Ronald is a kind of little mad...... He does these kinds of things usually. No need to worry. We had to keep those prisoners Marie and Leo from getting away ! I really suspect that Ronald has a crush upon Marie but that Leo! I don't know what he has done but he kept blabbering about some dangerous vaccine he was making , since several years. I think he has lost it too!"

But Sam wasn't listening. And ,yes , you guessed it right pal,what got his attention?. It was the name Leo, and in that room since several years.

"Hey can you tell me where they are? I would like to ask about that vaccine ",said Sam as normally as he could but with some moisture in his eyes.

"I still don't understand why you are so interested ! Alright suit yourself",said Patrick and led him out of the lab. 

Ronald and Smith were in the room in the top floor where no one had been except Ronald and now, Smith.

They walked and reached the door . "Here",said Patrick and opened the gate lock with a key. And Sam stood with helf breath

Marie and leo were sitting on the ground opposite to each other and pondering over some plan... something pointless obviously,because they weren't really focused at something particularly. 

And,they abruptly came back to their senses when they heard a click at the door and stood up and both of them looked at the door slowly being opened. 

'It is over',thought Leo,'They must have got hold of Sam too....god forbid.....and now they have come to take me for the test of the medicine'.

Little did he know...that firstly, the vaccine was not going to be tested on him and secondly,it was his own son standing behind the very door.

The door opened. Sam stared at Leo . Leo stared at Sam. 

"You have got ten minutes dude, you can ask them all you want,I doubt they will answer. And don't tell Ronald sir that I let you see them. I consider you a good guy so I let you. You can go in and talk all you want. ",said Patrick .

"Thanks guy....",said Sam still staring at Leo and entering the room,while Patrick closed it behind Sam and left. 

Sam's eyes were teary and he could only say the words ,"Dad?..........."

While Leo cried with both his hands on his face

"Dad?!",repeated Sam and went forward to hug him. And they wrapped their arms around each other tightly and started crying again.

Truly.....there is nothing like a parent's reunion with their child or the reunion of two lovers.......

I guess we should leave Sam and Leo alone for some time,shouldn't we?........
