CHAPTER 59

3rd POV

Hades left seph in the room that was his own throughout his life before the death of his patéras. It was the custom that the new head would live in the master bedroom of the west wing. Hades had cringed at the thought that he would be living in his patéras room but nothing could be done so he had asked the servant to refurnish it according to his tastes.

Before going into the room, he slightly opened the door to Alex’s room. Alex was sleeping and the new doctor was sitting on the couch nearby with a book in his hands. He closed the door and went towards his which was a few paces away.

The signs that his patéras had ever lived here were gone. Gone were the gold walls and pristine sheets. Now the interior was decorated in black and contrasting grey- and pale-colored sheets laid on the bed. Dark brown leather chairs seemed to just sigh in comfort in the familiar pallets.
