The beauty of the ocean never surprised me. The pink corals, random rocks full of algae and other life, sea flowers, colorful fish, the way that turquoise waters turned into green, blue and deeper dark shades of color was mesmerizing to me. My sister had indeed made the kingdom everyone can envy, but few can understand. Hers was the world of differences, a world of possibilities, a world of paradoxes and constant change. She thrived on things which made little to no sense – women and men who could live under water and walk on earth, like her mermaids, some of the best singers, yet also the most beautiful creatures, like her sirens, and yet some of the most ruthless monsters and killers in the whole existence lived under the water, in her home.
