DOWNTOWN There’s been an attack in the bar close to the witches’ quarters. The people of New Orleans have been hearing of mysterious killings by a wild cat. Some say the witches are behind the killings. The witches assumed the wild cat bite happens to be a bite mark from vampires. They do not want to get into a fight with the vampires especially now Lucas is speaking of a truce. They quickly made their way out of the bar leaving the barman, John, and Scott alone.Customers at the bar are running helter-skelter. The customers were still in shock. They have never seen such an attack or someone who vanishes out of thin air or morphs into a cat. ‘This is sorcery!” they screamed running out from the bar.The cat hops and stood at the bar counter making a constant purring sound. In the bar was one of Zuka’s vampires who has gone to get a witch to help Zuka out of his deep slumber. When he heard screams coming from the bar, he diverted and started heading toward the bar.
SIX MONTHS LATER Lucas walks into the cemetery to spend time on Bonnie’s grave. Things seem to be back to normal in his city. He has achieved getting the vampires, the witches, the werewolves, Banshees, gypsies, and the hunters to agree on a truce. The supernatural community will now live in harmony with the humans without any party looking over their shoulders. As he draws closer, he caught a glimpse of sand by the grave. Something isn’t right. He quickly made his way toward the sand that was close to Bonnie’s tombstone only to realize that her grave has been dug. When his mother returned from the ancestors’ world with the rest of the witches, she came back with Bonnie’s corpse. After consecrating it, they buried her close to her mother.Lucas quickly jumps into the grave as he reaches for the coffin. He opened the coffin. To his greatest shock, the coffin is empty. “Impossible!” he cried out. Is this real? No, it can’t be real. ‘There’s no way she could be alive,’ he thought to
CONGRESSMAN STYLES MANSION “Let him go!” Lucas yelled. Jack was suspended in the air. He pleads for his life but Ann showed no mercy. She glanced at Lucas with hate in her eyes. “You will never find my former mistress’ corpse.” Ann’s words stroke him. “So it was you?” “I had help,” Ann giggled. “Let him go and we can talk about this,” Lucas pleaded. “Whatever anger you have should be channeled to me. He has nothing to do with it.” “You are right,” Ann flashed a fake smile that can’t get to Lucas. “He has been a pain in your ass and now I want to help you delete him.” With a flick of her wrist, Ann released Jack and let him slump to the ground. Lucas moved at an accelerated speed to help Jack but Ann flings him away. She appeared behind Lucas and stabbed him with a similar dagger he stabbed Lucas with. “Die asshole,” she whispered into his ear. “No!” Lucas roared. It’s too late fo
“All rise!” the registrar echoed to the hearing of the people. As the judge takes his seat. The registrar ordered the court to sit as he calls out the cases. “The City of New Orleans vs. Lucas White.” The judge requests the lawyer of the plaintiff to identify himself. The plaintiff opens his case first. He has witnesses ready to testify against the defendant. What congressman Styles keep telling the press was that Lucas came for retribution and have succeeded in killing his son. He told the press it was wrong for Lucas to take laws into his hands. He has vowed with the blood of his son that Lucas will never escape the wrath of the law for killing his defenseless son, Jack. The evidence presented by the plaintiff's lawyer points to Lucas being the killer. The jury has reached their verdict and now the judge is about to pass the judgment. Lucas was terrified of what his fate would be in the prison away from his family and friends.
The morning weather was foggy with a gentle breeze that howled into Lucas' window. He was already running late for school when he heard his father yell his name. “Lucas! Lucas!” yelled Detective White. “Get your ass down here boy, you're already late for school!” Detective White is Lucas' father and one of the top Detectives in the New Orleans Police Department. He lost his wife early last year. According to the post-mortem examination presented to him, this states that Mrs. White was killed by a wild bear. Her car broke down in the middle of a wooded area. She called Detective White to come and pick her up or send help; he did send help but by the time help could get to Mrs. White to toll her car, she was already lying in the pool of her blood with a bestial bite mark on her neck. Her blood was drained and this bothered Detective White to eventually find out the type of wild bear that did this. “Sorry dad, I was…” Detective White couldn't let Lucas finish what he has to say.
Mr. Walter was disappointed in Lucas as he furrows his brows in an expression of displeasure toward Luca's action and for lying. He couldn't let Lucas say a word to explain how Jack's book got to his backpack. He brought his face closer to Lucas', “Detention won't solve this. You know the punishment for stealing is in the rules and regulations of this noble school?” “But sir…” “Quiet Lucas! Quiet!" Mr. Walter yelled at Lucas interrupting him from speaking further. "You are a disgrace to your father's badge!” Other students were already staring as they watched Lucas being disgraced. From the look on Jack's face, he's enjoying every bit of the embarrassment given to Lucas.“Sir, I demand he should be punished for stealing by book," said Jack. Mr. Walter swirled as he focuses his gaze on Jack.“Don't tell me how to do my job.” “I know but with my mathematics book stolen by him, I didn't do my homework.” Mr. Walter walks up to Jack. He fixed his eyes direct on Jack's eyes.“Is tha
Mr. Walter became spellbound that he couldn't say any word after listening to Jack's conversation with Alicia. Alicia confronted Jack and in the process, Jack revealed he accused Lucas of stealing his mathematics booklet after Lucas said he didn't do the assignment he forced him to do. Mr. Walter's face turned pale as he slowly lowered his head in shame. He feels bad for every word he has said to Lucas and the embarrassment he made him go through. At this time, Principal Myles asked Lucas and Alicia to go back to their class because the next class will begin in five minutes. “My son isn't going anywhere until the school authority apologized to him.”Detective White rose to his feet folding his arms. From the look on his face, one can easily tell he could just punch Mr. Walter in the face. He isn't happy with how his son is accused. He has seen some falsely accused victims end up in jail for years before the truth comes out. If this happens to be a major case, his son
Lucas couldn’t make any sense of what he just read. He has heard the word ‘ALPHA’ before but that’s definitely from his parish priest when he preaches Sunday Homily. He could remember when his parish priest could describe GOD as the ALPHA which means the ‘Beginning.’ For some moments he pondered to himself if actually what he read meant he will be the next GOD. ‘This might be from GOD,’ he thought to himself. That wouldn’t make sense as GOD won’t send a letter to him telling him he is the next ALPHA. He wants this to make sense to him but there’s no address on the letter, not even the sender's address. Without any sender’s address, he can’t make contact with the person that sent the letter to him. He slowly opens the door and walks into his apartment narrowing his eyes over and over again at the five-letter words. “What does this mean?” he mutters under his breath. One thing about Lucas is he never misses Sunday Mass nor has he ever been late. If there is anyo
