Chapter 12

After work Beau went straight home, hoping he could make things work between him and Kaia, at least till the baby was born. To his surprise, she had not been back home completely and that thought alone had him panicked. Since when was he so stupid and gullible? He got his phone out and made a call to someone he knew could find her.

What was wrong with this girl? What would he do if she hurt the baby? Or maybe she decided to run away. So many thoughts were rushing through his mind as he waited. One thing he did know was that he would have to punish her for this.

The call from his source came an hour later and he was in the car immediately after. He typed in the address on his GPS and followed it to where she was hiding from him. From now on, he would only grant her bathroom breaks. He would not let her out of his sight.
