Chapter 13

Kaia felt very nervous about telling Jen everything but her therapist thought she should tell someone she trusted and Jen was the only one. She took a whole two weeks thinking of ways to tell her best friend and hated feeling weak.

After she put Kim to sleep, Jen sat beside her best friend and did not push her to say a thing until she was ready. Kaia was never this nervous and she knew whatever it was must be she was keeping bottled up must be huge. A few minutes of silence passed and Kaia took a deep breath.
