Chapter 13

The entire group was stunned. No one had any idea of this happening apart from Vanessa who had been Sarah's closest confidant for her entire life. The night that had happened Vanessa had stayed up for hours trying to console the princess as she cried her eyes out. She allowed her to cry that night until her eyes were red and swollen and eventually she was finally able to fall asleep. The next morning she was called unsightly by her own father and was forced to have breakfast in her room, a few bites into her food she could no longer contain her sadness and began to cry all over again. Her fathers cruelty seemed to know no limits. Vanessa was enraged for Sarah. It took everything she had not to rush into the throne room and drive a blade into the part of his body that the heart should be, although she questioned if the bastard actually had one. 

Thankfully the wedding planning had not yet truly begun. Sarah decided to go visit her oldest sister whom she was very close to
