Truth Or Dare?

One Year Later

"Truth or Dare!!!" My cousins screamed in joy, making me roll my eyes. Seriously? Don't we have any other interesting games other than this stupid game, where they ask annoying questions or make us do crazy things? I thought.

"Ellie! Come out of your dreamland and sit. Game is about to start." Hailey said while pulling my hand.

"I don't wanna play Hailey. Please let me go." I said while giving her my best puppy looks. But Alas! Those looks didn't work this time as she snapped at me and gripped my hand tighter, not leaving me for even a second, making me pout like a kid for which my other cousins started laughing.

"What happened Ellie? Scared to play this game?" George asked, giving his evil annoying smirk.

"What's there to get scared of?" I asked while glaring at George.

"Dirty secrets!" George said and winked at me, making me want to puke.

"Huh! Stop pulling her legs George! Now let's start our game!" Hailey exclaimed.

Tom started spinning the bottle which stopped pointing at Hailey. "Truth or dare?" Tom asked Hailey. I took a bottle of water and struggled to open its cap with a single hand. Sensing my struggle, Hailey loosened her grip on my other hand, still not releasing it. I sighed and opened the cap while hearing her say "Truth."

"When was the first time you had sex?" Tom asked. I accidentally spilled out water I was drinking and started coughing. Hailey patted my back with a worried look on her face. After calming down, I started taking long breaths. Now the only thought I have is, will my cunning cousins ask the same type of questions for everyone or will I be an exception? Looking at the amused filled eyes and cunning face of George, I got my answer. Obviously I'm not an exception and considering my history of not participating in such games makes me perfect prey for my predator cousins. 

"When I was 16!" Hailey said while blushing.

"What?" I yelled while staring at Hailey.

"Drama queen!" Sydney exclaimed while giving me a disgusting look. Wait. What did I do now? I seriously am surprised to know such private facts of my cousins with whom I literally grew up.

"Continue Tom." Julie said while looking at Tom dreamily. Yeah. Julie has had a crush on Tom since childhood which is very well known to everyone except that dick headed Tom.

Tom started spinning the bottle which stopped pointing at Julie this time. Julie started blushing hard. Gosh! How can she blush this much? Like seriously, she doesn't need any artificial blushing. Tom's presence itself brings blush on her face naturally.

"Truth or dare?" Tom asked for which she started panicking. 

"Dare!" Julie said while staring at the floor. Tom smirked and started telling his stupid dare.

"Propose George!" Tom said while winking at George who started throwing daggers at him in return. He knows how much George hates Julie. So, he purposely wants to agitate him, making Julie propose to him.

"What? How can I do that? No way!" Julie started panicking.

"Why? Do you hate him that much?" Tom asked with stupid smirk forming on his face while staring at panicked Julie.

"Isn't it an obvious thing idiot?" George gritted his teeth while glaring at Tom.

Wow! This turns out to be interesting. Let's see how things turn out in the end. I started witnessing the most entertaining drama.

"Then, my dear, I'm afraid, you will have to choose Truth." Tom said in a dangerous tone, sending shivers down her spine.

"O...okay" Julie stammered.

"Tell me the name of your first crush." Tom grinned while looking at Julie's shocked face.

Hailey and I looked at each other's faces and gave a pitiful look to Julie. I'm sure this isn't the right way to say to someone that he's her first crush. She's not someone who lies even in her dreams. So obviously, she'd let him know the truth she hid till now.

"Come on Julie. Time is ticking." Tom said, making her look at him sheepishly.

"To...Tom." Julie said, earning fake gasps from my lady cunning cousins while Toms' mouth formed perfect 'O'. 

"What?" Tom asked in confusion. Julie started looking in all directions except him.

"Dude! Chill out! She might have meant Tom Cruise. Not you dumbass." George said and laughed out like a maniac.

"Is that true Julie? Enlighten me please!" Tom asked while looking at her curiously.

"No." Julie said, staring at Hailey and me.

"Ok. Enough guys. Stop your melodrama. Tom, you have already asked a question. Now it's time to spin the bottle." Hailey said sternly.

Tom whined like a kid. Woah! I have never expected this from him. He wanted to know exactly who Julie meant. He spinned the bottle with a boring expression on his face for which I laughed. 

As soon as the bottle stopped pointing towards me, that's when my laugh died, while replacing fear in its place. 

"Truth or dare?" George asked in a dangerous tone. Did he really ask in a dangerous way or was it because of my circumstance, I felt that way. I thought.

Earning curious looks from everyone made me anxious. Not knowing what to choose, I looked at Hailey for help for which she simply shrugged.

"Are you going to take a day for choosing a simple truth or dare Ellie?" George asked for which everyone except Hailey laughed. 

"Dare" I said while squeezing Haileys' hand.

"Ah! Finally!" George exclaimed. His eyes glistening mischievously scaring the shit out of me.

"Now what's he planning? God! Save me from this devil!" I silently prayed.

"Ellie! Ellie! Ellie! The princess of this castle! Go and kiss the one and only handsome male servant of this castle on his lips." George said and winked, making me gasp in shock. My cunning cousins whistled and cheered, making me fume in anger.

I glared at George. I gave a look that indicated 'As if I'd do that', wiping that awful smirk on his face. He started groaning.

"Come on girl. It's a simple dare. I didn't say you to makeout for giving such dramatic expressions!" George exclaimed for which I stood up leaving Haileys' hand. I went near him and smacked on his head for which he yelled "Ouch! That hurts princess!" 

I smirked at his painful reaction and left to sit at my place. Hailey and others looked at me curiously. 

"I'm not going to do that! For god's sake! I treat him like my own brother. I can't do that! I choose Truth!" I said and stared blankly at George.

"Hey. You can't change like that!" George complained like a kid. I shrugged my shoulders which made him fume in anger.

"When Julie can change, why can't I?" I said and stared at Tom intently. Tom looked at Georges' fuming face and sighed. 

"George. Come on man. This is her first time playing this game with us. Go easy on her." Tom suggested making me gasp in relief.

"Ok. Truth then. Tell us Ellie. Who's your first love?" George asked, throwing a bomb at me. I gulped down the whole bottle of water that's placed near me. Sweat started forming on my forehead. My hands started shivering. Everyone stared at me curiously while noticing my nervousness.

"Myself!" I said and ran out of that room which suffocated me. I told my mom that I have some work and I'd return by evening. I left without waiting for her reply. 

I ran to the nearest hill point. I sat down on a bench and gasped for air. While taking long breaths, Georges' Voice echoed in my mind, "Who's your first love?" 

Clouds started thundering, indicating the heavy rainfall that's going to occur. But my mind was too busy to notice that warning, as it's busy reminiscing about the past. The past that holds both good and bad memories. A loud thunder followed by lightening, brought back all memories which I buried deep down in my heart.
