Chapter 1

All the things shown in this book is purely for the purpose of the book, it has nothing to do with any religion or something. My intention is not to hurt any religion here. So please don't take anything seriously it's just a book and take it as that only

Author's pov

A girl is standing in the bathroom of her house with her eyes closed, shivering in fear of her Cruel Uncle and continuously praying to God, to save her from the painful beatings of her uncle.

She has committed a grave sin today because of which her uncle has turned into a devil who is searching for her in the whole house so that he can punish her. The question is what was her sin? Well, that ten years child got hungry and ate before finishing her household work, which was given by her Uncle, who treats her like a maid.

"Please god please help me don't let him punish me tonight." The little girl whispered while hoping that God would save her today. But she knows deep inside that like other times no one would be able to save her

"You little rat where are you huh? Come out this instant other wise if I found you then I will fucking beat you to death."

Her drunk uncle yelled at the poor soul who trembled in fear more than she was already

"please no! Please don't find me." The little girl chanted in her mind like some mantra

"Please leave her, she has not done anything. I gave her food because she was not feeling well! She hasn't eaten her lunch as well " a woman in her late Twenties said or I say pleaded to her husband. She was her helpless Aunt, her dead mother's sister.

"Not well on my foot! That little rat, how dare she eat before cleaning everything? That bloody Muslim rat is staying in my house, eating on my money and she won't do anything here? Have I opened an orphanage here that any rat like her can come and stay here for free? That too a Muslim? You know how much I hate them. "The man slurred in his drunk voice.

" please she is my dead sister's daughter. She is the only thing left whom I can call my family except you. Her religion doesn't matter; she is still half Hindu. "the woman tried to make her husband understand.

" yeah your bitch of a sister who was supposed to be my wife but eloped with her bloody Muslim lover who worked in a gang or something. She rejected me for a Muslim criminal and your parents give me you a barren bitch who can't give me a kid even after 5 years of marriage. And I'm here raising her sin child. Why should I huh? What will I get raising this rat? I didn't even get the money that her bastard father left or claimed that she would get. She came here empty handed with a few of her clothes and her parents' picture. Why can't her father give her something before dying? He was rich enough right? "That man screamed.

The little girl started to cry silently when she heard her uncle cursing her dead parents.

It's nothing new for her whenever he is drunk he will curse her parents. And sometimes even beat her with a stick.

She is just a 10 year old girl who lost her mother when she was 4 years old and father 3 months ago.

She is a daughter of Hindu mother and Muslim father and that's another reason in the list her maternal uncle hate her.

Suddenly the door of the bathroom burst open and her uncle came in where she was hiding.

"so you are hiding here you Rat! How dare you bitch to eat before finishing your work?" He screamed and held The little girl by her arm in a tight grip which made her cry in pain.

"I'm sorry I won't eat again before finishing my work anymore. Please don't hit me." The little girl wept, too scared to be punished by him.

"Please leave her please leave Shayari!" Her aunt cried.

But her uncle got more angry and instead of Shayari, he beat her aunt and gave her an ultimatum that if she didn't throw Shayari out then he would throw both of them out of his house.

She pleaded in front of him and begged for mercy but nothing melted his stone heart.

Little Shayari went near her aunt who was left in the room alone after her uncle beat her.

"Khala jaan! Ap thik to hai na? (aunt are you fine?)" Little Shayari asked her aunt scared

She doesn't want to lose her aunt as well just like her father and mother.

After her mother her father was the one who loved her very much but after his death hell broke loose and her life turned upside down.

" I'm fine my dear! Get ready baby we have to go somewhere. Pack your clothes and things in a bag." Her aunt told her

She is helpless now she has to leave Shayari in order to save her life.

She did what she could but now everything is out of her hands.

" where are we going? "Shayari asked

" somewhere where we won't face this anymore. "Her aunt said and she was indeed right

Shayari got happy and collected her clothes and the gift she got on her birthday that was 1 month ago. She filled her small bag and got ready.

Her aunt tied her hairs in a braid and made her wear a fresh dress.

Making sure that she looked good, she took Shayari with her holding a chit in her hand where an address is written.

"please Forgive Me Suhani but I have to do it." Her aunt apologized to her dead sister and Shayari's dead mother.

They both walked in the empty streets at night. No one was there as it's going to rain anytime soon and a storm is about to hit.

"Khala jaan I'm feeling scared. Please let's go back home. We will go there tomorrow." Shayari said scared because she is scared of thunder storm

Because it was a rainy night with thunderstorms when her parents died individually.

She has developed a fear of it. Her fragile heart is scared that this thunderstorm will snatch something again from her

"no baby we have to go now only." Her aunt said as they walked together

Soon a big mansion came in view but no guard was out because of the storm.

The outside of the mansion was vacant of any man.

She checked the address and found it is the same one.

"Shayari, will you be a good girl and stay here? Your khala jaan has to leave." Her aunt said

She doesn't want to lie to her that she will come back to take her.

"no khala jaan. I'm scared don't leave me alone. Take me with you. I don't want to stay here alone." Shayari pleaded

Her aunt understood that Shayari won't agree so she decided to lie.

"Just wait here Shayari. I will be back Real soon and then we will leave. Now you stand here and don't go anywhere ok?" Her aunt asked and Shayari reluctantly nodded

She is a very obedient girl who never denies her elder's requests or orders.

"you will come back right?" She asked with hope in her eyes

Her aunt felt bad to do this but she has to. She is helpless. She just nodded her head mutely and left without turning back for once.

Wiping her own tears she left from there leaving Shayari alone.

She knows that Shayari can't come back on her own because she is not that much older to recognise the road by herself that too the long ones.

The clouds started their thunder work making Shayari scared but she just closed her eyes and chanted in her mind that aunt will be coming soon.

Soon rain started to pour heavily but little Shayari didn't stand aside thinking that her aunt won't be able to find her if she stepped away.

She stood there drenching in the rain soon enough she started to shiver but still she stood there because she promised her aunt

On the other side while walking back to her house her aunt met with an accident and died on the spot only. The car driver escaped from the scene as soon as he hit her. It's like her karma hit her for leaving an innocent poor soul alone in the rainy and stormy night. God punished her

It was almost 15 minutes that Shayari was standing under the rain. Her little body is shaking in the cold.

She decided to walk a little bit far so her aunt can see her without having any difficulty

She walked a little with very difficulty and saw a car coming towards her with full force and…….
