EVELYN's pov

Over the course of the next couple of days I spent at Dominic's place, we got closer and as stubborn as I was, I had to admit to the fact that he made me feel safe.

I had just freshly got out of the shower and took my place across from him at the table.

"You clean up nice." He commented, and I gave him a warm smile. He smiled right back, but it didn't quite reach his eyes, and that was when I knew something was wrong.
