Chapter 6: Reluctant to Play Act

Finally, Aurora Geordie finished her speech and, under the watchful eyes of everyone, returned to her seat. Among the crowd of ordinary students dressed in standard attire, Aurora Geordie, with her bold outfit and stunning beauty, stood out the most. Her actions would soon spread throughout the entire school.

Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks. Ahead, a couple was passionately kissing in the woods. The back of the boy's head seemed familiar—it was Murray Poe and Liu Xianqian. The boy was wearing a clean white shirt, and the girl was in a pristine white dress, looking like a prince and princess straight out of a fairy tale, perfectly matched.

This scene felt all too familiar. A year ago, she and Murray Poe had their most intense argument ever because of a similar scene. That day, after leaving the high school library, she had seen a couple passionately kissing in a small grove. At that moment, her world seemed to turn upside down, with only a deafening roar in her ears and her heart feeling as if it were being torn apart repeatedly. She knew that Liu Xianqian had always liked Murray Poe, but she never expected them to end up together. Aurora Geordie's face showed no emotion. She put on her dark sunglasses, adjusted her headphones, and walked past them with light steps, following the rhythm of the music. Liu Xianqian was puzzled—hadn't she seen them? If she had, her reaction would have been different. After Aurora Geordie was expelled, she had begged Murray Poe for help, appearing as lowly as a dog. Seeing the man she loved deeply must have caused a storm in her heart!

Liu Xianqian deliberately called out to Aurora Geordie: "Mengxian? Isn't that Mengxian? What a coincidence!" Murray Poe also reacted, his eyes flickering, as if he wanted to say something, but Aurora Geordie walked past them without acknowledging them.
