Ken stood up and walked towards the fire place. He pressed a button and out came a small drawer. He picked out a cigarette, lighted it using the lit fire place. “Where is she?” Ken questioned, facing the roof, exhaling a cloud of smoke. “I’m sorry boss.” Ben pleaded, going on his knees. “She…she got away, I’m sorry boss.” Ben stammered. “You’re sorry?” Ken questioned, facing him and giving Ben a harsh look. Ken turned backing him, “you know I have zero tolerance for failures but as a close and trusted friend I forgive you." He spoke, his cigarette in his mouth, hands backwards.

Ruby tried explaining-but with the way things were, nick looked totally confused. "Ok, boy. That's enough. However, I actually came here to warn you. You have three supernatural powers which you inherited from me. I am a very great grandma of yours. I'm in the seventeenth line of your family generation. I know you may not understand. But however, your powers are: one-the ability to see ghosts. Two- you have a special word which you can say anytime to get out of trouble but you will later get to know the word as you grow. I stood up and Emily started the presentation with the maps as I explained where the border used to be and where it was now. “I can’t do anything with that piece of property until Eli stops his incessant complaining. My people won’t be safe there until this matter is completely put to bed. Now, I see he didn’t come to the meeting today, which is very disappointing, but then again, my mate did put him in his place properly.” They laughed with me. “But I do need a final decision. Kalis POV I wake up, rubbing my eyes. I roll over and notice Rylins up and in the shower. I feel my stomach drop to my feet. Trying to bury my fear down. Only an hour or so before we have to go to the council meeting. I want him to go in not worrying about me but I know he cam feel my concern because I can feel his tension flowing through the bond. He's seems super suspicious. I peek through the bathroom door to take a look at him showering. He links me, ' If you're going to stare just come join me'

She nods and smooths her blouse rather nervously. "This might seem rather awkward, but I need you to be completely honest...," she says while staring intently into my eyes.
