Ricky’s pov

Finally ropes of my cum land on my abdomen. It felt like my orgasm was never going to hit. Using my left hand made it awkward.

I get up and head to my on suite. I need to clean myself up and go see Ellie. She didn’t say anything to me last night, I can tell she is starting to shut me out and I am putting an end to it now.

Opening my bedroom door I spot Shelby leaning against the wall. “You stood out here listening to me” I say invading her space. “You should have just stayed in the room at this point” I wanted to reach for her hand but she looks withdrawn.

“Are you ready to go check on Ellie” she whispers.

“Of course come on” I lead her to Ellie’s room. She is leaning against the head board of her bed. “Hey” I say going to the side of the bed closest to her. I reach for her hand but she moves out of my reach. My head drops this is what I was afraid of.

“Ellie come on talk to us. Look Ricky is right here and is going to be ok” Shelby goes around the other side pulling Ellie off the bed.

Ellie says nothing she just stands there staring through me. “Ellie please don’t do this” I beg her. I know what happened had her in flight mode and I am trying to keep her grounded.

“I’m going to go see if your mom is up” Shelby says leaving me and Ellie alone.

“Look at me Ellie” she barely lifts her head. “In a few weeks i will be completely healed. I am fine , I know the accident scared you. But I need you, mom and Shelbs need you”

“Ellie” our comes into the room. “Honey I need you to take down the walls. You can’t shut us out your brother is ok. He has some healing to do and in a couple weeks I’m sure he will back to racing” Ellie flinches when our mentions me back in the car.

“Do you think she needs to go for treatment again” I ask my mom. When dad died Ellie went for inpatient mental health treatment for 2 months. That was the only way I got my sister back.

“I don’t think so, at-least not yet. Let’s give her some time”

“I love you Ellie” I say getting up and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Leaving and going back to my room. I need to take my pain meds I am more than past due and the ache is getting unbearable.

“Hey are you doing ok” I look over at my doorway and Shelby is standing there.

“Yeah I wish she would just talk to me” I say.

“I know Ricky she just needs time. Your mom has asked me to come stay here for a while. She said you’re going to need help around the house when she is at work” Shelby is going to nursing school. So of course my mom asked her to help take care of me and Ellie.

“ I am going to run home for a little bit to grab some clothes and other stuff I might need while I’m here. Do you need anything before go”

“No I should be okay. I am probably going to go sit with Ellie for a while. I want her to know I’m not going anywhere” I say standing and heading towards my bedroom door.

“Thats not a bad idea” with Shelby leaves me to go confront Ellie on my own.
