THIRD PERSON'S POV
Everyone dreams once I a while. In general, it is good to fantasize, but one should always remember to keep their feet on the ground at all times. What's more, pain is inevitable, we can always hope for the best and at the same time brace ourselves for the worst. If only Myra had known what misfortune lied in her finding her mate. If only she had braced herself for the situation she was about to encounter. If only...At daybreak, Myra found herself in an unknown territory, welcoming but unknown nonetheless. She scanned her sorrounding and was greeted with beautiful colourful trees.Trees of all colours adorned the ground, each unique in its own way, all trying to outshine one another and at the same time working together to keep the grounds as alluring as a bride decked for her wedding night. She would have mistaken it for heaven had she not already heard stories of the Cresent pack. Now that she was witnessing it she had to admit that the stories had done the place quite an injustice. The peaceful aura made her smile and she let herself inhale peace for a change. However, her peaceful moment didn't last long. Before she could comprehend what was going on, she had already been sorrounded by warriors. Her plan at first was to explain herself, that way they might set her free but she did't get the chance to. She was chained and brought to her knees almost immediately. Hazily, her gaze met those of the worriors, then shifted slowly to their alpha. He looked scary, strict and serious. She was about to look away from him when he moved his head and their gaze locked."Mate" she heard Rhea yell in her head, jumping up and down recklesly. She took in his scent and realized that Rhea was right. He indeed was her mate if the intoxicating scent he wore was anything to go by. She felt an emotion she had long forgotten existed, happiness. She was about to speak when he beat her to it."Take her to the dungeon" He commanded with so much power she nearly bowed, then realized what he had said. Why would he want his mate locked up? Didn't he feel the bond? or maybe he just wanted to ignore it. Whatever the reason was, she deserved an explanation."Wait, alpha. " she spoke" I am your mate, don't you feel the bond?' she waivered at the last part, her voice portraying her pain at the rejection. In fact, she was so hurt that she nearly missed the gasps around her."Come with me" he said looking straight into her eyes.Once she was free she followed the alpha into his house. He sure was wealthy, because that house could have been mistaken for Burkingham palace. She took in the sight around her with awe.Footsteps from the behind her made her turn around and in her line of vision appeared a beautiful , curvy woman . Without even knowing it, she found herself getting angry."I am alpha xavier, and this is my mate Sarah" the alpha announced much to Myra's horror. She faltered and reached out to the nearby table for support. How could it be that he already had a mate, she felt it , the mate bond, his scent. How could it be that...No, that couldn't be. She surely had heard him wrong. She felt suffocated, unable to breathe and worst of all, she couldn't feel her wolf.Oh she was shattered! So much at the moment she wished for death."Are you okay" she heard the woman, Sarah, speak."I am fine" she said with a fake smile .She should have known, bad luck has always enclosed her like her very skin.Myra felt like she was plummeting into an eternal void, it was Xavier's hands on her body that kept her from doing so.His mouth on her was so insistent, his hands wandering. He was doing things to her. Things she didn't want to think about as she laid in bed with him steeped in hot pleasure. She was beyond lost.Did she moan or had he? Did he profess his love for her or was it all a figment of her imagination. She wondered. All that she would think of later. She would enjoy, their time together, she decided. "You are driving me crazy" he whispered even as he eased a finger inside her, followed by a second one.He was gentle in his movements despite the fire in his voice and the passion in his caress. He wanted her to feel the pleasure as him, the same desperation. And when he had taken her to the peak, he knew she was ready for it.He eased inside her, slowly to let her adjust to him. He would bank down on his needs. Suppress them untill she was comfortable. He wanted it to be memora
Days had gone by since Xavier and Myra had had any private moment. It was demanding, she learned, to be a luna. When the day was over, she would go back to their room but he was rarely ever there. After the attack on the pack, he had become more vigilant. He made sure he personally patrolled the borders each night. That was until he made sure there was no more threat. That would all change today. She thought. She missed him, she admitted to herself. It had been hard having him so close and yet so far. She would prepare for his return, she decided. She made her way to the bathroom, for a shower. After that she decided to pick out something appropriate for the night. She looked at her closet for a while before settling on a red lingerie. It was so bright and so revealing. A recipe for seduction.Would he like it? she wondered. She was in the middle of overthinking when he walked in.Panicked, she quickly put on a robe over the lingerie and hid behind the door.Nice move, Myra. She mo
Myra stretched luxuriously in Xaviers bed, she opened her eyes slowly and came face to face with her mate. Something had changed, she could feel it she just didn't know what. The feeling was undescernible and overwhelming at the same time. "Hi" she said and mentally slapped herself. How embarrassing. "Hi baby" he answered her, moving to stand infront of her seated figure. "I had a dream where I was kidnapped and you came to save me and you had these beautiful red eyes.and I.." "Beautiful red yes huh...." He teased moving his face in front of hers. "Very beautiful" she said blushing. "You are the first person to ever call me beautiful." He dragged her flush against him by her wrist and she moaned rather loudly when their body touched. He gave her that teasing look and she looked away embarassed. "I am sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me today. I feel..." she trailed. "What do you feel?" He said. Her knees almost gave out when he trailed kisses along her neck. He noticed
Xavier growled as he fixed is eyes on the building before him. The council building. He could tell they had been waiting for him from the number of soldiers that were outside. They definitely were prepared, but that didn't matter. He was veven more prepared. He let his eyes skim over the soldiers who were each in their battle position, planning his next move. "Beta, you and the warriors take out these soldiers. I will go get my mate" Xavier ordered. "You can't go alone alpha. Take some of the soldiers with you" Ryan reasoned. "You seem to have forgotten who I am" Xavier said with a smirk, his demeaner changing and just like that Ryan understood that the vamprire had taken over. Xavier made his way into the building, tearing from linm to limb any soldier he came across. He could scent his mate she was probably looked in one side of the building judging by how concentrated her scent was on one side. He followed her scent untilll he came to a cetain steel door. He was about to tear i
Third persons pov. Xavier paced up and down his large office, trying to think of a solution to his missing mate. This had been exactly what he ahd been afraid of. He had known, somehow, that having a mate wasn't the most sane idea ever. He was a powerful alpha yes, but having a mate would mean having to worry about the councill taking her, and now just that had happened. He found himself feeling desperate. No no, that just couldn't be. There was no such thing as desperation in his vocabulary. Still he craved her presence. wanted her more by every passing minute. Absence doesn't always make the heart grow fonder, if he still had doubts about being with her, they would surface. Only, how could they surface when his whole being had been overtaken by her? He couldn't think of anything else but Myra. Her blue eyes that seemed to shine whenever she was happy and her playfullness. Even her talkativeness was something he missed at that time. "Lets go Beta Ryan". Xavier commmanded. "What d
Myra's pov. It is said that happiness can confuse us at times. When we are happy, we tend to forget all the terrible possibilities that life can throw our way. Even if we knew when and how something terrible was to happen to us , we would still be reluctant to accept it. Take my case for example, after experiencing the joy of having a mate for a few weeks, i have already forgotten how cruel life has been to me till now. Well, at least my ill fate showed up again. This is what happened. This morning Beta Ryan reported suspicious activity at the border . As expected Xavier went to check it. Turns out it was just a trap. By the time he and the other warriors got to the border, the rogues had already made their way to the park house. I am happy that no one died even though a few pack members got hurt. Somehow i ended up in the hands of the rogues. We are currently on our way somewhere. I don't know where though. I have tried mindlinking any of the pack members but its impossible due to
MYRA'S POV. For the past few weeks Xavier has been treating me so well and I have been extremely happy. We haven't mated yet but i can tell we are on our way there. How? well yesterday he insisted that we go spend the weekend in his beach house up coast. I take it a sign because why would he want us alone and far from everyone if not to mate. Besides he has been really clingy lately. Don't get me wrong i loved it but still i can tell that he wants us to mate. Right now we are in his office, he is working on some papers while i am reading a rommance novel i found on his book shelf. Which is a suprise since i never thought he would read such books but it could also be Beta Ryans. "What about my Betta has you so happy" he says suddenly bringing me out of my thoughts. "Nothing" I say too quickly blushing in the process. The fact that Xavier can always read my thoughts is something I am constantly forgetting and to be honest i don't understand hoow since we are not yet mated. "Come, i
Third persons pov Myra trully had no idea when the innocent massages turned into a slow caress. It took her well over a minute to come to terms with the transitions , longer to acknowledge it and even much much longer to react logically. It was all exciting and scary at the same time. She had gotten closer to giving her virginity to him before but that had been under the influence of the heat. Now she was clear minded so then she shouldn't have let it happen yet. To be honest, he scared her. Not only because she had never been with any man but also because with him all these were just so naturall. She would react without even knowing she had. And that is something he really enjoyed. He reveled in the power he seemed to hold over her. With a little touch she would yield and it pleased him and his wolf. "Please, stop" she managed steeped in hot pleasure. Her mind foggy. He didn't listen to her instead he continued to caress her bare skin his hands inching closer to her centre. She mo
Third person's pov Myra woke up the next morning feeling better and well rested. One of the best rests of her life. She could now mindlink the pack members, she was officially their luna. Of course she could feel their presence at the back of her mind. It was a whole new feeling. A feeling of belonging. Of having a family. "Goodmorning luna"Crista greeted, straightening the curtains. "Morning" Myra returned, feeling a little dissappointed that Xavier was nowhere to be seen. "You have to get ready, the alpha is waiting for you at the training grounds. " Crista said adding a light laugh at Myra's reaction, then she excused herself and walked out. Myra quickly showered, then stopped by the kitchen to catch a quick breakfast before she made her way to the training fields. Xavier was there training the other fighters. He had no shirt on and his hair was dishelved. At that moment she realized that he looked better than she had ever seen him She must have been staring for too long becau
