Not a good sign

Chris's pov

Today I was in Boston because of some work. The office was located near a famous mall of boston. I reached there early in the morning and presented our deal to them.

It was break time when I went down to have some fresh air as all the other employees were gossiping with each other but when I got down i was shocked to see the sudden crowd in the mall

"Is there any sale here?" I thought but  my confusion was gone when I saw the poster that some super star named Chris Evans was visiting this mall.

I rolled my eyes seeing the crazy people who were desperate to have a glimpse of him.

I don't watch any movies but many actors visit my college on a regular basis and I have seen people going Gaga over them which seems to be useless to me especially some girl shrieking love to them as if they will marry the girl.

I was about to get inside the building again when my eyes fell on a girl she was looking scared and uncomfortable in the crowd, she had covered herself with her arms, I looked towards her face and it seems like she was about to cry and unknowingly my feet started moving towards her, she got a push from the crowd but before she could fall I held her

At that time I looked at her face properly. She looked innocent and scared. She opened her eyes and started staring at me and I felt something in my chest, her innocent face was just too beautiful without even a pinch of makeup.

I came out of my trance and asked her if she was fine but she didn't reply and someone shoved her towards me and she held me which I found weird.

I again asked her if she is fine and she said shuttering that she is afraid of crowds so I nodded and offered my help.

I was shocked with my own behavior as I never talk sweetly with anyone. In a normal situation I would have ignored it but now I am offering help. Maybe because I can feel that this girl is very naive and innocent and I had a sudden urge to protect her. I shook my head and helped her to move out of the crowd. All the way I could feel her gaze at me but I chose to ignore it and kept walking with her in my arms.

Finally when we were out crowd I stopped but she still looked in daze so told her that we reached

She looked around in confusion and said a thank you to which I nodded because I too don't know why I helped her so I turned back to leave but I heard her asking me name which made me halt in steps. It took every ounce of control in me to not turn and introduce myself to him and ask about her. So I ignored her and started praying in my mind that I don't see this ever again in life because she made me feel something in my heart which I thought was dead and this is not a good sign.

On the other hand Christie and Scarlet were shopping in the mall but Christy was exceptionally quiet which was noticed by Scarlet

"What happened Christie.... Why do you look so off today" she asked

Christy looked at her and shook her head "nothing I am just hungry" she said pouting

"Okay we are already done with  shopping so let's go to the food court and grab some pizza and shakes' ' Scarlet said excitedly while listening about Pizza christy too became excited and they ran towards the food court.

Upon reaching they were drooling over the food while ordering it and then sat on the vacant place.

"Now spill the beans, what happened to you?" Scarlet asked while Christy shrugged

"Don't try to act in front of me.... I have noticed that you were so lost today while shopping rather than excited and shopping like a crazy person" Scarlet said

"Am I that obvious?" Christy asks, pouting as she too didn't know what had happened to her. The encounter with a stranger has deeply affected her.

"I don't know if you are obvious or not but I am your best friend"

Christy sighs " when we were separated in the crowd I was feeling suffocated in the crowd. You know right that I got scared in the crowd and you were also missing. I got a push from a crowd but before I could fall a man held me and I don't know why I felt so mesmerized by him and felt a sudden pull towards him"

"Ohhh so my friend is in love at the first sight....wow so amazing finally you are in love... Okay so tell me, Is he good looking? What is his name? Did you get his number? Did....."

"Stop Stop Stop Scarlet stop getting over excited over everything. I am not in love with him and I don't know anything about him.... Not even his name though I asked him but he didn't replied"

"Oh C'mon Christy ofcourse it is love... You have never ever talked about any man like this except Ian Somerhalder and you yourself said you were mesmerized by him and I am sure you must be daydreaming all the while we were shopping that's why you were quiet"

"You are half right. Yes I was thinking about him.... I don't know why but I am so intrigued by him I mean he looks so mysterious" Christy said and then looked towards Scarlet "but that doesn't mean that I am in love with him"

"Ohhh.... Maybe he is some kind of werewolf or vampire and you are his mate that's why you are feeling a pull towards him"

"Scarlet please I am serious I am getting a headache thinking about him" Christy said in an annoyed tone which made Scarlet serious too as she saw her eyes welling up.

"Hey christy what's wrong?" She said holding her hands

"I don't know I want to meet him again I hope I meet him again" Christy says while Scarlet took her in her arms

"Aww baby you will meet him again for sure I am having this hunch" says Scarlet

"Hey see food is here" Scarlet says to change the topic

"Gosh the pizza looks to yummy and brownie looks too chocolaty" says Scarlet licking her lips

Christy's mood immediately lit up seeing the food and her stomach growled so she started eating her food forgetting about the situation which made Scarlet smile.

After shopping they went Christy's home and started packing their bag as they have to leave within two days

"Are you girls done with your shopping?" Sukh ji asked

"Yup" they said in unison as they sprawled on the couch

"Good even I have done all preparation for you both" Sukh ji said gaining their attention

"Which preparation papa?"

"Since you have decided to go out of the city, it's my responsibility to ensure your safety there, so I have rented an apartment for you both in a safe place away from the city and near your college. The area is safe so that you both can live comfortably"

"Awww papa so sweet of you" Christy grinned and hugged her father

"Yes uncle you are great" , Scarlet too hugged him.

Next day, they went in preparation and packing for leaving. These days were exhausting for girls but they were successful in doing all their preparation within two days and now they are sitting in their new apartment in manchester. It is a beautiful 2BHK flat. They had reached half an hour ago and they were exhausted. They called their parents who gave them a lot of instructions and many do's and don'ts.

"I am too tired" Scarlet said stretching her arms

"I am hungry but we have a lot of work to do although the house is clean but we need to set up everything" Christy said yawning.

"Let's order food and we should take a long nap then we can do everything else" Scarlet suggested

"Sounds cool please order food" Christy said closing her eyes

Scarlet ordered the food for them from the nearest restaurant and closed her eyes too.

Their nap was broken by a ringing of bell

"Scarlet I think food is here go and bring it na please" Christy said in a sleepy voice

"No you go this time I have ordered food you it's your turn to receive it" Scarlet said covered her face with pillow

"Please Scarlet I am really tired"

"I am tired too christy"

"See the delivery man will go If we will not open the door please go na Scarlet"

"Arghh let's play stone,paper and scissor and the one loose will open the door" Scarlet said and Christy agreed

"Stone paper scissors..."

Christy showed paper while Scarlet showed scissor

"Yes I won... Now you go" Scarlet said and closed her  while Christy went to open the door

Taking the food inside she opened and both the girls attacked on the food.

After having their food they took a long nap.

"Yes now everything is in its right place I am really happy that we did it" said Scarlet

"Yupp..... But now I want to go out I want to explore this city" said Christy

"Really at this time.... Yaar I am exhausted now... We will go tomorrow"

Christy pouted "please yaar just a little walk" she went towards balcony "have you seen that field it looks very beautiful just go till there"

Scarlet sat on the couch "please christy no"

"Only in that field please. I don't know but I am feeling like that field is Calling me. Please Scarlet it is near our house and we can also have some fresh air"

Scarlet groaned "okay fine"..
