Violet's Pov

I closed my eyes as he leaned closer, waiting to feel his lips on mine as usual, but what came was a feathery touch on my hair. I opened my eyes to see a piece of thread in between his two fingers.

"A thread"

"Oh..." I swallowed, trying to stabilize my fast beating heart. He sure knows what he's doing to me.

"What were you expecting? A kiss? You won't let me do that though". He pouted like a spoiled brat that he is, further making me drip in between my legs.

"Can you move back please?" I whispered, but the wall of muscles invading my personal space didn't budge. Why did he look so hot doing nothing and everything?
