Never in a million years did I ever imagine that my longtime crush would turn out to be my best friend’s dad! The first time I saw Jackson was on my sixteenth birthday, and he captured my heart instantly. My boyfriend had just broken up with me because I wouldn’t sleep with him when we'd only been together three months. I wanted to take it slow and he was okay with it at first until he started disturbing me. I wanted to get intimate too but something just kept pulling me back. He seemed too desperate and I didn’t like that so I decided to give it more time. That didn’t go well with him. He dumped the news on me a few hours before my sixteenth birthday party, and my heart was so broken that I wanted to cancel the party. My feelings were all over the place and I was a mess. I just wanted to sulk up and cry myself to oblivion. Laurette and our friends wouldn’t let me. They dragged me to the bar and while they had all the fun, I sat in a corner, secretly moping the tears that flooded my eyes. They tried to cheer me up so many times but I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy the night. I kept thinking about everything over and over again. I couldn’t believe that I woke up so excited and eager to see what my darling boyfriend had for me. I honestly thought he had a surprise for me because of the way he had been behaving lately, sneaking around and all. I thought he was planning something big for me. Well, he did plan a big surprise after all. Breaking up with me on my birthday is one heck of a surprise any girl would wish for… I was still wallowing in self-pity when this tall handsome man walked in and I mean this man was damn perfect. He had a lady on his arm, but that didn’t stop my eyes from feeding on him hungrily. His aura was so strong and I just couldn’t resist him. He noticed me after a few calculated stares from me, but his eyes didn’t stay long on me. As for me, my gaze never left his side. His high-end shirt did justice to his handsome face, nicely trimmed hair, chiseled chest which bulged against his shirt. The lady he went in with, who I assumed was his girlfriend, was all over him and I envied her. I wished it was me standing next to him, but then, I was only sixteen, and I could tell he was in his forties. I was very young and completely inexperienced about love, there was no way he would go for someone that naive. I left the bar that night, but I never forgot him. His face was ever registered in my head, and even after my boyfriend and I got back together, this strange man was still in my heart! It’s been four years and I never thought I would see him again or that he would be my best friend’s dad. However, standing in front of him again, I wasn’t sure if it was still love, but something in me awakened. An urge, a craving… call it whatever, but I yearned for every bit of this man! “I’m sorry, but I’m going to need my bestie now!” Arlene retorted, interrupting my thoughts as she dragged me back to the party. A guy was waiting for us, and he quickly stood up once we were standing in front of him. He was wearing a big smile and I could tell what was about to happen. “Laura, this is my friend, Andrew, he likes you and wants to get to know you better. Andrew, this is Laura, she’s my best friend, so I won’t take any BS from you, huh?” Arlene let out excitedly before leaving the two of us to it. Andrew seemed nice and good-looking, but he just wasn’t my type, or maybe my heart wasn’t ready for anyone that wasn’t my Jackson. Andrew and I got on the dancefloor and everything was going well until he started getting too handsy. He was all up in my face, pressing my body to his, and trying to touch me. “What’s wrong?” He asked when I finally pulled away from him. “Nothing, I just need to use the restroom, I’ll be back in a jiffy.” I replied and then walked away without waiting for a response. I was lying. I just needed an excuse to get away from his irritating attitude. I made my way upstairs, checking the rooms one after the other, trying to find Arlene’s room, so I could hide in there till the party ended. I was still at this when I noticed a room. The door was slightly opened, and I peeped inside out of curiosity. There was fantastic art in the corner, which further piqued my interest. I went in and, seeing the arrangement, I could tell it was Jackson’s room. I quickly went to the corner and got a good look at the art, which was really nice. I was about to leave when the water started running in the bathroom. For a split second, I got scared and contemplated whether to run or take a look. I decided to take a quick peep. I opened the door slightly and there was Jackson. Naked under the shower in his full glory! He was having a great time, lathering his body while the water poured over him in the sexiest way. I was so impressed with what I saw, and it made me weak to the bones. I was so lost in my imagination and mistakenly made a sound with the door. That was my cue to leave if I didn’t want to get caught. I quickly backed away, and ran out of the room…Jackson “Come here,” I muttered and then pulled Laura into my arms. She was finally coming into the room after a long time. I left her and Arlene to catch up since they had just gotten back together. I came into the room and waited for her but she never did. I kept looking at the time, wondering what was keeping her. It felt like forever and it took all the willpower in me not to go out to call her. But I didn’t, Arlene wouldn’t like that and knowing how much it took for them to reconcile, I didn’t want to ruin it for Laura. “What took you so long, I was this close to coming to get you.” I retorted and she smiled.“Ohh, miss me much? Thank God you didn’t come. I would have been so mad.” She teased while I smacked her ass.“I know right, I just couldn’t wait to have my baby back in my arms.” I said and then kissed her. That wasn’t enough for me so I went and before long, I was already licking her whole face. She enjoyed it too and kept giggling the whole time.“Stop Jackson, stop,”
LauraI wanted to tell Arlene not to speak to me like that, she wasn’t being civil but I didn’t say a word. I didn’t want to spook her and cause more friction between us. “Uhh, aren’t you going to talk now? Whatever, just know your five minutes is already counting.” She lashed at me again.“I’m so sorry for everything that has happened between us. I know you’re still mad at me and you’re right to be. I mean, I would probably be mad too if it were the other way around. I just don’t want us fighting anymore, it’s so frustrating. I love you so much and it hurts me that we are here. I know it’s all my fault and I take full responsibility for my actions. What I did was wrong and there’s no justification for it. Please forgive me.” I pleaded while she stood there and shot me a glare. “What if I say no? I can’t forgive you, Laura. Maybe sometime later but definitely not now. You said you love me but what you did was the exact opposite of that. I mean, how could you claim to love me and sti
Laura“Do you really have to go? I miss you so much already.” I whined while hugging Jackson tightly. He placed a deep kiss on my lips, and I smiled a bit but not so much, so he doesn’t know it got to me deep.“You don’t have to pretend, your face is red already from all the blushing so just let it out.” He teased and I played hit him on the chest. He gasped, holding his chest like he was wounded for real. I laughed at him and he laughed too. “I’ll be back soon, huh? I miss you too but I have to go. You know I’ve got to make sure the money is intact so that I get to take care of you forever.” He chimed in and I nodded. “Come here, give me a kiss.” He pulled me back into his arms, kissed me deeply and only let me go when my hands was reaching for places. I laughed when he did that but I didn’t stop him when he started to leave. I just stood there and watched him walk away. I felt so much love in my heart for him. “Thank God, I came back. What would I do without my sweet man?” I sai
Jackson “Hey, Laura, I was just thinking about calling you but I didn’t know if it was a good time.” I said over the phone. I was so surprised to see her call, we haven’t been in contact since the last time we talked. “I’m coming back to California, and this time, I’m staying with you till everything gets resolved.” She replied and I immediately stood up. “No, no, you can’t do that. I can’t let you do that. I already told you how messy things are over here, I don’t want you getting stuck in all that.” I argued. “I’ve made up my mind and nothing can ever make me change. I’m coming and that’s final. My things are already packed too, I only called to inform you, I wasn’t trying to get permission.” She said sternly and I could tell there was no changing her mind.“What about your parents then?” I asked. I wanted to be sure she wasn’t running away from home. She’d have to stay back if that’s the case. There’s no way I’m letting her go against her parents, especially her mom.“We will
Laura“Would you be my girlfriend, Laura?” I watched as the words flowed out of Reed’s mouth and I swallowed a deep breath. I was actually expecting it because it was kind of obvious from when he asked me on the date. He was being dramatic about the whole thing and when I told Laurette, she also had the same impression as me.“I think he’s going to finally ask you out?” She let out and I could see the excitement all over her. “Are you going to accept?” She chimed in while I just looked clueless. I really didn’t know what I was going to do. Of course, I know he was going to ask me sooner or later, and I was open to giving love another chance. But after the conversation with Jackson, I started to have second thoughts. I love Jackson so much and I just don’t see myself being with another man. Even when I was mad at him, i never stopped loving him. Reed was just a welcome distraction that was now turning into a forced reality…“Hey, what’s on your mind?” Reed let out, pulling me back
Laura “Why are you not answering your calls? Who is it? Reed?” Laurette asked when she saw me end the cal for the third time. “I’m not interested in talking now, maybe later.” I simply said and she smiled. “Ohhh, I think I know who it is. It’s Reed right, you’re trying to play hard to get so he can keep chasing you. That’s nice, can’t blame a girl for trying to protect her heart.” She teased and I couldn’t help but laugh.“You’re a big clown, Laurie, why would I be playing hard to get? Would you even let me? I can’t remember the last time I had control over myself. You’re always making decisions on my behalf so how exactly do I get to play hard to get?” I quizzed and she shook her head proudly. “You’re my only sister and there’s no way I’m watching you live a boring. Until you deserve to put yourself first, I will keep making those decisions for you. We will be happy together sweet sister.” She said firmly and we both laughed it off.It was my phone ringing that stopped us. I pick
Laura The next day was our field trip in school, and I’d been really looking forward to the art projects and classes that would be held. However, I couldn’t go because I was still in shock and hadn’t gotten over the trauma. Moreover, after so many years of missing my crush and wishing I could s

Laura I sat silently in the backseat and slowly drifted into my thoughts. It was my first time in California, and though it didn’t feel like it yet, I knew I would have such a great time. I’ve been here only two weeks and, so far, I’ve managed to make a friend. Arlene. She’s a billion
Jackson “Babyyyy!!!” Lisa exclaimed as she ran towards me and hugged me tightly. “What are you doing here, Lisa?” I replied when she finally peeled herself from my chest. “What do you mean? What am I doing here? Didn’t we agree to go to the event together?” She replied, rolling her ey
