Laura’s POV
I couldn’t stop thinking about Jackson throughout the drive home. The image I saw was fresh in my head and my imagination started to go wild.
I drooled at his toned biceps, peeking from under the shower, and inviting me. I got in the shower while he pinned me to the wall and planted his lips roughly on mine till I got moist down there.
I surrendered myself and parted my legs to give him more room to explore my body. He moaned hotly against my neck, his hands fondling my breasts while he whispered my name over and over...
“Miss, miss, miss!!” My driver called out, jerking me back to reality.
My legs were parted, and my red panties were exposed, which he feasted on with a disgusting appetite.
I quickly sat up, and rearranged my gown while he unplugged his eyes from my lap.
“We’re here, but I don’t mind helping you out…” I was so disgusted and didn’t even wait for him to finish before hopping out of the car.
Embarrassed, I pretended not to hear him as I brisk-walked to the door while he zoomed off in a huff.
I went straight into my room and crashed heavily into bed. I still couldn’t get Jackson out of my head. I pulled up my gown and reached inside my panties.
I was so wet, I was dripping. I was aroused. I was craving him so badly, and it was driving me crazy.
The only solution was to sleep it off, so I closed my eyes and forced myself to sleep.
I woke up a few hours later to weird sounds in the living room. Slowly, I got out of bed, got my pepper spray before gently walking to the living room.
I was scared out of my wits when I saw two masked men in my living room. A quick scan around the room and I saw some of my things were already missing.
I knew I had to call the police, so I quietly turned around to get my phone, but I was faced with another masked man who I feared was the third.
I quickly sprayed the peppermint heavily in his eyes, but his cries called the attention of the others, and before I could run into the room, they caught me.
One pinned me to his chest while the other helped the one that was sprayed. He later got himself and though they were all masked and I couldn’t see their faces, I could tell they weren’t going to let it slide.
The second guy wanted to slap me, but the sprayed one stopped him. He licked his lips as he came closer to me, and started sniffing my face.
He was moan-growling and it irritated me so much. The one holding me was probably aroused too because I felt his grip loosened. I took the chance and kicked him hard in the nuts. He fell to the ground, writhing in pain, while I ran to the door and realized it had been locked.
They burst into laughter seeing my defeated appearance. I ran to the wall and started flicking the lights very fast, hoping one of my neighbors would still be awake and call the police.
The men quickly rushed at me to stop me and this time, the hotheaded one slapped me.
“You see where your stubbornness has landed you, huh? Are you ready to cooperate now?” He asked in his husky voice as he pushed me to the chair and laid on me.
He was a bit hard and was dry humping me, sniffing my face, which made me wonder what he was on about.
In about two minutes, the sound of the police siren started blasting from a distance. They quickly scrambled and got their hands on some more things before fleeing.
Their car zoomed off just before the police pulled in front.
Apparently, my plan worked. One of the neighbors saw the lights flickering and called the police.
“Is there anyone we can call to come get you?” The officer asked me.
I gave them Arlene’s number and in ten minutes, she and Jackson arrived.
I was sitting on the sofa, wrapped in my duvet while trembling out of fear.
Jackson talked to the police while Arlene hugged me tightly like I would disappear if she left me.
“Will she be safe in the house?” Jackson asked the officer.
“She’s coming with us, until those guys are found.” Arlene chimed in firmly, even before the officer could say a word.
“Actually, it’s a safe neighborhood, and we rarely have cases like…” my neighbor retorted, but Arlene wasn’t having that.
“I don’t care how safe it is, she was just attacked in her own house. She’s not staying another night in here until those guys are caught.” She cut in sharply again.
I didn’t think it was a good idea to stay so close to Jackson, but I had no choice. I couldn’t bare to sleep in that house knowing the masked men had not been found. I would be scared out of my mind every night, and that would make me go crazy.
“There’s an extra apartment in the compound. It’s small, but your privacy would be assured, and it’d still feel like you’re staying alone. You can move there once you’re fine.” Jackson chimed in on our way back to the mansion.
“Don’t mind him, it’s not small. It’s a huge apartment, and you’re going to like it there.” Arlene leaned in and whispered to me.
I could tell from the smile on her face that she was happy I was moving in, but it only made me feel guilty. I was in love with her dad and I wondered what she would think of me when she finds out.
The next day was our field trip in school, and I’d been looking forward to the art projects and classes that would be held. However, I couldn’t go because I was still in shock and hadn’t gotten over the trauma.
“Don’t worry, I will make videos of every class and project. It would be like you were there in person.” Arlene said to me as we shared an embrace.
We finally unclasped from the hug, and she hopped into the car. I stood there and watched as Jackson started the car and drove her to the train station, where she would be joining the others.
I stayed in bed all day, going through pictures and videos online. It was a welcome distraction from the horrid scenes from last night.
In the evening, when I was thirsty, I went downstairs to get some juice. I was about to enter the kitchen when I started to hear voices from outside.
It felt like last night all over again, and I was so scared out of my mind. But then, the masculine voice sounded familiar, and I just couldn’t resist going to check.
I peered through the window and I saw Jackson with a lady. I didn’t see her face as she had wrapped her arms around his shoulders and buried her lips in his, kissing him passionately. I wasn't expecting it, and it totally caught me off guard. I wanted to look away but then, I saw their tongues entangled, and her breasts pressed flatly against his chest, and he didn’t even bother to stop her.
I immediately felt an ache growing in my chest as they got in the car and zoomed off. I was so hurt and almost tripped, but I quickly caught myself.
I forgot I was thirsty, I forgot the juice. I was mad with jealousy.
“Who is she?” I thought to myself as I went back into the room.
I tried to get it out of my mind, but I couldn’t and after some minutes of getting disturbed, I grabbed my phone and called Jackson.
“Hi, I just wanted to ask if you’re back from work. I haven’t seen you since morning,” I asked.
“Hi, Laura. I actually got back from work an hour ago, but I’m currently out now. I have an emergency and might not be coming home tonight. Are you good though?” Jackson explained.
“Yeah, just wanted to know. Bye.” I replied and then hung up.
He just lied. What I saw wasn’t an emergency. That girl was definitely his girlfriend!
I sadly laid back in bed, and tried to distract myself again with the online videos, but it didn’t work. I kept seeing Jackson’s face all over my phone screen.
After two hours of no sleep, I peeled myself from the bed and bristled with impatience. I moved to the window, parted the curtains and looked outside.
The Olympic-sized pool caught my attention and I just knew that was what I needed to get Jackson off my mind.
A cold swim!
I went downstairs to the pool and dived right into the water.
It was cold and refreshing, and I had so much fun. I got out of the pool, put on my robe and was about to leave when I heard a sound behind me.
The robbery scenes came back, and I got scared again as I was the only one in the house. I turned to look, but I slipped and lost balance.
I screamed in fear, and the last thing I remembered was my body hitting the water.
When I came to, Jackson had propped me into a sitting position and was looking frantically in my face.
“Are you okay?” He asked while I searched for something to say but came up empty.
"Are you alright?" He repeated, but having him so close to me, my heart started beating so hard and I could hear each rhythm.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I saw you needed your privacy, and I was going to let you, but my phone betrayed me. It rang.” He explained.
"I thought I was alone since you said you wouldn’t be coming home tonight.” I finally found my voice.
“I saw you leave with a girl earlier." I quickly added, but I immediately regretted it. I shouldn’t have. I became shy and avoided his gaze.
"Are you jealous? Was that why you called? To know if she’s my girlfriend?" He asked firmly and I suddenly started to cough.
Yes, I wanted to know who the girl was, but I had consoled myself with the fact that I had no right to be jealous since I wasn’t his woman. Besides, he’s older and way out of my league, so I understand his taste would be high too.
"No... I… I… I’m not jealous. I have no reason to. I only called to check up on you." I said, stuttering while he just stood there and smiled.
"I see the way you look at me. I know you want me…" he let out, while I looked into his eyes. I quickly looked away, but my eyes caught something else. He was wearing tight shorts, it was wet, and I could see what he had down there. It was massive, and looked bigger than when I saw it in the shower…
JacksonThe day went by so slowly. I sat through meetings, stared at reports, and nodded along to conversations I barely registered. Because the whole time, my mind wasn’t there, it was with her. Laura.I had broken her heart last night, and it was killing me. I could still see the look on her face when I told her it was a mistake. The way her shoulders tensed, her lips parted slightly in shock, her eyes searching mine for some sign that I didn’t mean it. That I wasn’t rejecting her.But I had. And I hated myself for it.I knew she was hurting. No matter how strong she tried to act, I knew. And the thought of her suffering alone, maybe crying herself to sleep because of me, was unbearable.I had decided to let her be, atleast till she heals but I just couldn’t take it anymore. I have to check on her. Just a brief visit… just to see how she was handling it.But I couldn’t just show up at her door after cruelly shattering her heart. That would be cruel, and she would even demand an expl
Laura“What the hell are you doing in my kitchen, Andrew?” I asked again as I groaned and pressed my fingers against my temples, trying to steady the throbbing in my head. Every beat felt like a hammer against my skull, a painful reminder of my terrible decision last night. The nausea had subsided a little, but I still felt weak. Seeing the surprised look on his face, I realized I must have been too harsh so I dialed back my tone. He was standing across from me, arms crossed, watching me with a blank expression. "Okay," I muttered, clearing my dry throat. "Seriously, Andrew… what are you doing here?" He raised an eyebrow. "You don’t remember?" He asked while I frowned."Remember what?" I asked too.Andrew then exhaled through his nose, shaking his head like he couldn’t believe me. "I called you last night. Multiple times." I blinked. "You did?" I asked while I did a quick recollection, but I couldn’t remember a thing. My head was completely blank. All I remember was drinking t
Laura“Oh my goodness…” I muttered under my breathe as I struggled to open my eyes. It was like they were literally glued and I had to force them open. Slowly I managed to open them and that was when it started. The pounding in my head was unbearable. A dull, merciless throbbing pulsed behind my eyes, making every little movement feel like torture. My throat was dry, my body stiff, and when I tried to sit up, my stomach churned violently.“What’s happening to me?” I let out slowly while still trying to figure out while it felt like I was going through seven rounds of pain.I groaned, blinking against the harsh morning light streaming through the windows. That’s when I saw it.The empty vodka bottle lay on its side next to me, its contents spilled across the floor. Shards of broken glass glistened in the mess, and I realized, with a sinking feeling, that I must have knocked over a glass at some point. The evidence was everywhere… sticky liquid, shattered pieces, my disheveled self lyin
LauraSleep was a luxury that refused to find me. My body felt heavy, yet my mind raced endlessly, replaying every moment with Jackson, every glance, every touch, and ultimately, the painful words he’d spoken when he walked away.I reached for my phone and dialed my twin sister, Laurette. She always knew how to ground me when I felt lost. The phone rang... once, twice, and then straight to voicemail. I tried again, hoping she'd pick up. No luck."Hey, it's me," I whispered into the phone after the beep. "I just... I need you right now. Call me when you can."I ended the call, feeling more alone than ever.I lay in bed, eyes wide open, staring at the ceiling. The silence of the room was deafening, filled with thoughts I couldn’t quiet. For what felt like an eternity, I just lay there, blank, unable to cry, unable to feel anything but this hollow ache in my chest. After what must have been an hour, I gave up on sleep and dragged myself to the living room. I turned on the TV and mindless
Jackson The room felt suffocating the moment Laura emerged from the bathroom, her skin glowing and damp from the steam. My heart clenched at the sight of her, but guilt gripped me tighter than desire. I had crossed a line, one I should never have even approached. The echoes of our shared passion lingered in the air, but beneath that was the weight of what I’d done. She was young, vibrant, and full of life. I was twice her age, burdened with experience and regrets. What I had allowed to happen between us wasn’t just wrong in the eyes of others… it was wrong in mine too. I couldn’t shake the image of Arlene, her laughter, her trust in me as her father. And Laura, her best friend. What would happen if the truth ever surfaced? The betrayal, the hurt… it would be irreversible. I’d not only destroy my daughter’s trust but ruin Laura’s reputation and innocence in the process. The world wouldn’t be kind to her. People would whisper, judge, and brand her with ugly names. They would say s
LauraI lay there, completely spent, tangled in the sheets that still carried his scent. I probably wouldn’t be washing the sheets anytime soon as I’m not sure when or if I’d ever be getting another chance with him. Until that happens or not, I’d be using the sheets as an alternative. Those scents are enough to make me come hard. My body hummed with satisfaction, and I couldn’t help but let a sly smile stretch across my lips.I turned to face him, tracing my fingers along his strong jawline. “You’re incredible, you know that? That was so intense, and I enjoyed every moment.” I muttered to him, while beaming with smiles.Jackson’s gaze softened, but there was something distant in his eyes. He gave me a faint smile and leaned in to kiss my forehead. “You should clean up. I’ll join you soon.” He chimed in, his tone quiet, almost hesitant.“Alrighty, I’ll be waiting for you, and who knows, I might just be free for a second round.” I retorted, seductively winking at him but he had a blank
