Dangerous Morning

last update publish date: 2026-05-13 20:41:44

Victor was coming home early and I was still covered in his son’s marks.

My eyes flew open. Damien’s strong arm lay heavy across my waist. The master bedroom smelled like sex and his skin. The sheets were twisted around our naked bodies. I felt sore in places I should not. Shame washed over me like cold water. I had begged his son to fuck me all night long in my husband’s own bed. What kind of woman does that after selling herself to an old man for money?

“Damien,” I whispered urgently as I shook his shoulder. “Wake up. Your father is coming back this morning. We need to fix everything now.”

Damien pulled me closer instead of letting go. His hand slid down my bare back. “Let him come. You belong to me now, Ava. Not him.”

I pushed against his chest and sat up, holding the sheet to my breasts. “Do not say that. This was a mistake. I feel so dirty. I sold my body to your father to save my family. He is old enough to be my dad and I let you fuck me in his bed. I hate myself for wanting it so much.”

Damien sat up slowly. His stormy gray eyes looked at me with that same possessive hunger. “You did not just let me. You rode my cock like you needed it. You came screaming my name while your husband was gone. Stop lying to yourself.”

My cheeks burned hot. “Please stop talking like that. I know what I did. I know how wrong it is. But when you touch me, I cannot think straight. I feel ashamed every single day for marrying Victor, and now I feel even worse because I want you more than I should.”

We got out of bed quickly. I stripped the dirty sheets while Damien helped. We put on fresh ones together. Every time his fingers brushed my skin, heat rushed through me again. I hated how my body responded to him.

“I need to shower,” I said. “There are marks all over me.”

Damien followed me into the bathroom. “I like seeing my marks on you.”

“Stop,” I whispered, but I did not push him away when he stepped under the hot water with me. We washed each other in silence. His hands were gentle this time. I closed my eyes and tried not to enjoy it too much.

After the shower, I chose a modest long-sleeved dress that covered most of my neck and arms. I stood in front of the mirror and tried to hide the red spots with makeup. It was not enough. “He will see them. What am I going to do?”

Damien came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. “Come with me to the library. We still have time before he lands. I need to check something.”

I turned in his arms. “Damien, we cannot do this again. Victor could come back any minute. I feel guilty enough already. I am his wife. He paid to save my family and I am betraying him like this.”

“You feel guilty, but you are still wet for me,” he said quietly. “I can see it in your eyes. Tell me the truth, Ava. Do you want me to stop?”

I looked down at the floor. My voice came out small. “No. I do not want you to stop. That is what scares me the most. I should only feel disgust for what I did, but I keep remembering how good you made me feel.”

He took my hand and led me to the library. The room was quiet and full of tall bookshelves. Damien closed and locked the door behind us.

“We should not be in here,” I said, but I let him pull me close.

Damien kissed me slowly this time. His hands moved under my dress. “Just one more time before he comes back. I need to feel you again.”

I kissed him back even though I knew it was dangerous. “This is crazy. I am so weak when it comes to you. I hate what I have become.”kk

He lifted me onto the large antique wooden desk. Books shifted as he pushed my dress up to my waist. He dropped to his knees in front of me and pulled my panties aside.

“Damien,” I moaned softly as his tongue touched me. “We should not do this here.”

He licked me with slow, deep strokes. “You taste so good. Tell me how it feels.”

“It feels too good,” I gasped. My fingers went into his dark hair. “I should be thinking about your father, but all I can think about is you. This is so wrong, but please do not stop.”

His tongue moved faster while two fingers pushed inside me. I tried to stay quiet, but soft moans kept escaping. The pleasure built quickly. I came hard on his tongue, biting my hand to keep from crying out loud.

Damien stood up. His eyes were dark with need. He opened his pants and freed his hard cock. “Look at me, Ava.”

I looked into his eyes as he pushed inside me slowly. “Oh God,” I whispered. “You feel so deep.”

He moved with long, steady strokes. “Tell me who makes you feel like this.”

“You do,” I admitted between moans. “Your father never made me feel anything. I feel nothing when I think about him. But with you, I cannot control myself.”

We kept our eyes locked the whole time. He squeezed my breasts through the dress while he thrust deeper. “You are mine now, Ava. Say it.”

“I should be his,” I whispered, even as I wrapped my legs tighter around him. “But right now I am yours. Please, Damien. Make me come again.”

He fucked me harder on the desk. The sound of our bodies meeting filled the quiet library. I came again, shaking in his arms. He followed right after, burying himself deep inside me.

We stayed connected, breathing hard. I rested my head on his shoulder. “I feel so guilty. I sold myself to an old man and now I cannot stay away from his son. What kind of person am I?”

Damien kissed my forehead. “A person who was forced into a bad situation. My father does not deserve you.”

He helped me down from the desk. While I fixed my dress, Damien walked over to Victor’s desk in the corner of the library. He tried the drawers.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“Looking for answers,” he said. “I know my father hides things. Stay there and keep watch.”

I stood near the door while he searched. After a few minutes, he pulled out a folder. We sat together on the leather couch and opened it carefully.

“Medical reports,” Damien said quietly. He read through the pages. “He has a terminal illness. The doctors gave him less than a year. That is why he married you so quickly. He needs an heir before he dies.”

I covered my mouth with my hand. “He never told me any of this. He just paid my family’s debts and took me as his wife. I thought I was saving them, but he only wanted a young body to give him a child.”

Damien put the papers back exactly as he found them. “He uses people. Always has. We need to be very careful from now on.”

We left the library and tried to act normal. My legs still felt weak and new marks hid under my dress. I prayed Victor would not notice.

A few hours later, the private elevator chimed much earlier than expected. Victor walked into the penthouse. He looked tired from the rushed trip but his eyes were sharp as always.

“Ava,” he said. He pulled me into his arms and kissed my cheek, then my neck. “I missed my beautiful young wife.”

“I missed you too,” I lied. My voice came out shaky.

Victor held me close. His hand moved down my back. Suddenly he stopped. He pulled the collar of my dress to the side and stared at the red mark on my neck.

His body went still. “What is this mark on your neck, Ava?”

I stepped back quickly. My heart pounded so hard I could hear it in my ears.

Victor looked from me to Damien, who stood watching from across the room. His voice became dangerously calm.

“Damien,” he said. “Did you touch my wife while I was gone?”

Julian’s smile never reached his eyes and I knew right then that this conversation was about to go very wrong.I stood in the safehouse living room with the gun still in my hand. Julian sat on the couch like he owned the place. Rain beat against the windows outside. Maya slept in the next room. I had told the guards to stay back. This was between me and him. No one else.“You really think I would leave Damien?” I said keeping my voice flat. “After everything he has done for us? For our daughter? You must be out of your mind.”Julian leaned forward resting his elbows on his knees. “Think about it Ava. Damien is dangerous. The raids. The violence. He is turning into his father. Maya deserves stability. The De Witt family can give her that. Schools in Europe. Protection that lasts. A future without the constant fighting. All you have to do is walk away from him. Simple.”I laughed but there was no humor in it. “Simple for you maybe. You show up

The knock on the safehouse door came at 2:17 a.m. and I knew Julian had found me before I even checked the camera.I grabbed the gun from the nightstand and moved quietly to the monitor. Maya slept in the next room under the watch of two guards. The Paris safehouse was supposed to be off the grid. Thick walls. No windows on the lower floors. Yet here he was. Julian De Witt stood outside in a dark coat rain dripping from his shoulders. He looked straight into the camera like he knew I was watching.I pressed the intercom button. “What do you want Julian? You have no business here.”His voice came back smooth and calm. “Open the door Ava. We need to talk. Alone. Your daughter is safe for now. I give you my word.”I laughed short and bitter. “Your word means nothing. Leave before I call the guards.”He did not move. “If I wanted to take her I would have done it already. This is about choices. Ope

  • Forbidden Obsession: Falling for My Stepson   The Rotterdam Exchange

The dock lights cut through the fog like knives and I knew Julian’s men would kill me on sight if they spotted me first.I crouched behind a stack of shipping containers my back against cold metal. The Rotterdam docks smelled of salt and diesel. Rain mixed with the river water under my boots. I had left Ava in the safehouse in Paris with strict orders to stay put. She had fought me on it but I needed her safe with Maya. This job was mine alone. The container Julian wanted sat under a single spotlight fifty yards away. Guards walked slow circles around it. I checked my watch. Three minutes until the next shift change. Time to move.A low voice crackled in my earpiece. “Damien you there? I have eyes on two more guards at the east gate. You sure about this?”I whispered back keeping my head down. “I am sure. Just keep the boat ready. If this goes bad I need a fast exit.”The voice belonged to an old contact from my

  • Forbidden Obsession: Falling for My Stepson   Trapped in the Catacombs

The flashlight beam caught the skull wall just as the first gunshot echoed through the narrow tunnel and I knew we had walked straight into Julian’s trap.I grabbed Charlotte’s arm and pulled her behind a pile of bones as Damien fired back. The air smelled of dust and old death. The Paris Catacombs stretched around us like a maze of the dead. We had come here to meet Charlotte in secret thinking the underground tunnels would keep us hidden from Julian’s men. Instead they had followed us down. The mercenary team moved fast their boots scraping on the stone floor.“Stay low,” Damien shouted over the noise. “They want us alive. Do not give them a clear shot.”Charlotte pressed against the wall her voice shaking. “I told you this was a bad idea. I should have stayed in my studio. Who are these people?”I crouched beside her keeping my body between her and the gunfire. “Julian De Witt&rs

Charlotte slammed her paintbrush down on the table and stared at me like I was the problem she never asked for.I stood in the middle of her small studio in Montmartre with rain still dripping from my coat. The place smelled of turpentine and fresh coffee. Canvases leaned against every wall showing city streets and faces full of life. Charlotte wiped her hands on an old rag her dark hair tied back loose. She looked nothing like the polished people from Victor’s world. She looked real. Tired. Like someone who had already decided the Langford name meant trouble.“You really came all this way,” she said crossing her arms. “After everything you told me last night. Sit down before you drip water all over my floor.”I pulled out a wooden chair and sat. The rain tapped against the window making the small room feel even smaller. “I had to. Julian De Witt is moving fast. He showed us the contract. He thinks he can use you

  • Forbidden Obsession: Falling for My Stepson   The Phantom of Montmartre

The rain came down in sheets over Montmartre and I knew we were chasing more than just a name.I pulled my coat tighter around me as Damien and I hurried down the narrow cobblestone street. Water soaked through my shoes but I kept moving. Paris at night felt alive and dangerous all at once with the fog rolling in thick and the lights from little cafes cutting through the mist. We had landed only hours ago and already we were on the hunt for Charlotte Vance. The artist who might be Victor’s secret daughter. The half sister we never knew existed.Damien kept close his shoulder brushing mine. “The gallery owner said she works late most nights. This should be the place. You ready for this?”I nodded gripping his arm. “Ready as I will ever be. What do we even say to her? Hey your dad was a monster who hid you from the world and now his old business partners want to use you like a chess piece?”He let out a short laug
