Adair’s Point of View
By the time I make it back home it's 10:00pm and all I want to do is sleep. Announcing our divorce today definitely caught the attention of a lot of people. I’ve been bombarded with phone calls all day that I had to turn my phone off, get Dorias to turn her phone off, and get my PA to turn his phone off, because when I didn’t pick up people would start calling them and it was just getting fucken ridiculous.
It’s a damn divorce why do people even care.
Stripping off my clothes I get into the shower letting the hot water relax my tensed body. I'm only allowed a couple minutes of relaxation before the doorbell rings.
Who the hell can that be at this time.

As soon as we exit out of the elevator, there stand two large muscular men on opposite sides of our door. Dressed in big black heavy clothes, a vest, and have an ear piece going down the side of their neck, I notice that they also carry a gun in the holster that rests on their waist.They look exactly like the three guys we saw in the lobby before coming up here.My mom turns her head towards me with a look of curiosity written all over her face, and I know why their here. Before leaving, Adair briefed me about my bodyguards. I will always have two in front of my door, three downstairs in the lobby, one to drive me around everywhere, and a couple at work.When ever my mom would need to go out, Andrew or Cole will accompany her and someone will replace them in front of my door. He gave me the phone numbers of all the body guards and I made sure to save them according to their position aside from Andrew and Cole.I’ll remember their names.When I asked him what happened to the old guards, he said there was a lot of yelling, threatening, and firing involved but more of the threatening part.My mom and I spend the rest of the evening watching a movie. As the movie plays, I'm having trouble concentrating, because I’m itching to call my aunt and ask her about this whole vacation thing. I honestly don’t know how long this whole case will run, but I can at least ask her to have my mom over for at least two months.

I spend the next two days helping my mom pack for her flight which leaves for tomorrow. When the airline found out that Elizabeth Carter was my mom, which I definitely think my aunt mentioned it, they prioritized her and gave her a ticket for the earliest flight possible.It definitely has to do with my name being attached to the Adair case. I really did believe that once Miller came back from his vacation that he could tell us something about the masked man. I end up waking up early because I couldn’t go back to sleep after last night. I make my up to Aaliyah’s dark green apartment door, and notice that Andrew isn’t where I last saw him. I do have the key to her house, but unlike last night, there's no way that I'm walking in on them again.I knock loudly on the door just to scare them and to make sure to let them know that somone is at the door.
