Chapter 33
Aaliyah gave me a ride to Adair’s house since she was dying to see how it looked in person. I did take quick pictures in the morning before going to work, but she wanted to see the ‘work of art’ herself.
“This is amazing!” Aaliyah breathes taking in the exterior of the home.
“Wait till you see the inside.” I laugh.
Walking into the house, I’m bombarded with two maids and a chef. One of them grabs my purse while the other helps me take my coat off. The chef asks me what I would like for dinner and I honestly didn’t know I had that much authority to decide the menu.
“Um, just surprise me.” I say unable to think of something that Adair will like too. The chef gives a wide smile and walks back to the kitchen. I think he’s excited to cook his own creation.

The next morning is a whirl wind of events.Leo called Adair to tell him that we were to go to some boutique to get our measurements taken by a tailor for the party. According to Leo, there was no way that he was going to let his favorite people wear ordinary clothes.In terms of ordinary, the boutique was no where near ordinary at all, with it's dark green walls sparkling with specks of gold foil and it's light grey marble floors shining with no inch of dust or dirt. A long corridor lightens the way with chandeliers, exposing doors that remain tightly closed. Two doors remained situated behind the tall dark grey marble desk and before we could say a word, tailors from behind the doors came bustling out with their measuring tapes and iPads.All dividng out, they each take us to seperate sides of the room and measure us from top to bottom, not missing a single thing.
