Chapter 38

The stench of sweat and blood lingers the in the cold air of the small dimly lit room. It's stone walls remain completely bare expect for a security screen that’s all black and a black chair that rests near the screen. Another man dressed in head to toe in black stands near another steel door, talking to a peculiar looking man. 

“Alexander Adair welcome back!” Exclaims a small chubby man walking over to us and brining Adair in for a kiss on the cheek.  

Wiping the kiss off with his shoulder, Adair reaches out to shake his hand. “Leo it’s been awhile.” He says teresly.

The monsterious image of him that swirled in my head is now erased as I take in the sweet and approachable demeanor of Leo. His rosy pink cheeks remind me of Santa Claus sand his twirled grey mustache along with his shoulder length hair doesn’t make him seem he’s in a mafia at all. If I were
