Chapter 33

AMELIA

“ Please don’t go, Tyson. ” I was begging. It sounded like that to me, but I didn’t care. I really wanted him to stay.

He took another step forward, making me close my mouth. He won’t stay. It was clear.

Silently, I turned my back to him and winced. It still hurt a little. Females took more time to heal than males which contributed to this pain right now.

The bed dipped behind me. His warmth seeped into my back as he lay down at some distance.

He was staying. My stomach fluttered, as a grin threatened to break on my lips. But it was really not the time. He might decide to change his mind if I showed my excitement.

I should remind myself that I thought he would never see me again after tonight, but Tyson proved me wrong and came to me. It was enough.

Sparks ran up and down my spine, soothing the pain to some degree. I closed my eyes and heaved a huge breath.

“ Why did you lie? ” Tyson’s gruff voice filled the silence.

“ I—I didn’t want to lie. I was just angry. ” I whispered.

I think this is going to be the game changer. Going forward I think they are going to start opening up to each other. I believe we will see another more gentle lovemaking scene between them soon. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Amelia and Tyson may be the key to defeating or changing Levian.
