Daniel felt relieved when he was done with his 4th meeting for the day. He shook hands with some partners after which he exited the conference room. “I took down notes as you requested. Sighing, Bea took the phone away from her ear and tried to check the device for messages or voice note notifications. She was hoping to get at least one of those from Frank but not to her surprise, she didn’t see any. She brought herself to dial his number again and see if he was going to pick up. She felt her throat go dry when she saw the limo before them. The chauffeur was ahead of her so he opened the door for her. “Thank you,” She mumbled, then entered, comfortably taking her seat. She saw Rita smiling hard as she stood by the door of the house, waving her hand as the driver drove off. Beatrice took a deep sigh, trying not to think of something else but to keep an open mind and to enjoy the night as she promised Rita. After what felt like years to come, the chauffeur pulled up in literally the most expensive restaurant in the city.
