Ryleigh awaken early, but she was too slow to get up since she was still in pain below. It was a simple move on his part. However, he entered without her knowledge.

As much as she desired to snuggle with her pillow, she had a wifely obligation to fulfill. She glanced at the wall-mounted clock and saw that it was 5:12 a.m. Well, she doesn't need to set her digital alarm clock by her bed because she always wakes up at five o'clock in the morning without fail.

She got up and made her bed prior to taking a shower. She is headed towards the staircase when she catches sight of Lucas, who is dashing in his business attire. Damn! She muttered an inward curse.

She smiled regardless of what had transpired the previous evening. "Good morning," she said as she began to descend the stairway. Luke is still her husband; thus, she must respect him.
