(Author’s POV)

The entire mansion fell into a blanket of darkness, every light switched off as ordered. Everyone was hidden, Skylar brothers holding their breath behind furniture and walls, servants tucked neatly out of sight, and Aurora peeking from behind the large floral divider near the entrance, her heart racing in anticipation.

Moments ticked by like hours.

  • Forced Marriage with Four Brothers   Chapter 452

(Author’s POV)The sun rose over the sprawling Skylar estate exactly as it had every other day. Golden light spilled across the gardens Aurora had loved. It touched the roses she had planted herself. It reflected from the marble fountains she insisted should always have fresh flowers floating in them.Nature continued as though nothing had happened but inside Skylar Mansion, everything had changed. For the first time since Aurora had entered their lives, the mansion did not wake to her laughter. No cheerful "Good morning!" echoed through the corridors. No teasing voice called out to the brothers for oversleeping. No music played softly from the living room.Nothing, only silence. A silence so heavy that even breathing felt loud.

  • Forced Marriage with Four Brothers   Chapter 451

(Author’s POV)The heavy doors of the Skylar mansion clicked shut behind Caleb and Elara, leaving the sprawling estate in a state of absolute, deafening silence. James stood in the center of the living room for a long time, his eyes burning as he looked up the staircase that led to the brothers rooms. With a heavy, broken heart, he turned to the remaining servants, quietly dismissing them to their rooms. That night became the longest, dreadiest, and most agonizingly broken night the Skylar mansion had ever witnessed. The massive house, which had once felt like a vibrant sanctuary under Aurora's care, had reverted instantly into a cold, hollow fortress of shadows. Every corner held a memory, every corridor echoed with a silence that screamed her name.Upstairs, Owen sat motionless in the balcony of his da

  • Forced Marriage with Four Brothers   Chapter 450

(Author’s POV)The disaster site slowly began to empty. Fire trucks remained. Police officers continued securing the area. The media had finally stepped back under Caleb's warning but for the Skylar brothers, time had stopped. They still stood together, motionless, as though leaving that place would somehow make Aurora's death irreversible.Caleb looked at them for several moments. His own heart was heavy, but someone had to take charge and walked toward them slowly. He stood before the shattered titans, looking down at their torn clothes, their blood-streaked hands, and the hollow emptiness in their eyes."Let's go home" Caleb said softly, his voice cutting through the distant, low hum of clearing emergency vehicles. But the word home hung in the cold night air li

  • Forced Marriage with Four Brothers   Chapter 449

(Author’s POV)The Skylar brothers remained on the sidewalk long after darkness had settled over New York. None of them wanted to leave because leaving would make it real, leaving would mean accepting that Aurora wasn't coming home and none of them were ready for that. They were simply four devastated men trying to survive the worst night of their lives.Caleb had rushed straight to the scene the moment the news of the explosion broke. He stood in front of the huddled brothers, his breathing heavy, his face completely pale as his eyes took in their disheveled, ruined appearance."Ryan? Owen?" Caleb’s voice shook, cutting through the low hum of distant sirens. He looked around frantically, his eyes searching the surrounding emergency tents before droppin

  • Forced Marriage with Four Brothers   Chapter 448

(Author’s POV)The night had fallen completely over New York. Under the harsh, sterile glare of the emergency floodlights, the four most powerful, influential billionaires in the city were entirely reduced to nothing more than four devastated, grieving husbands. The empire they had built, the millions they commanded, and the formidable reputation that usually made the world tremble meant absolutely nothing as they sat huddled together on the dirt-stained concrete of the sidewalk pavement.Asher was sobbing hard, his broad shoulders convulsing violently. The shock of seeing Aurora’s bracelet clutched in Owen’s hand had completely shattered his composure."Aurora..." His voice cracked."Aurora..."He rep

  • Forced Marriage with Four Brothers   Chapter 447

(Author’s POV)For the entire four-hour flight from Mexico to New York, Asher felt like he was suffocating. The private jet cabin was quiet, too quiet. His manager, Damien, sat across from him while Carl remained nearby, both watching him with concern. The air conditioning was humming at full blast, yet thick beads of cold sweat rolled down his forehead, matting his unstyled hair against his skin. His hands, usually so steady under the glaring lights of a movie set, were shivering uncontrollably as he clutched his smartphone like a lifeline."Breathe, Asher. Just focus on your breathing," Damien said softly, kneeling beside the seat. He held out a bottle of water, his face etched with profound worry."We’re flying at top speed. The pilots are pushing th
